No its not too early, my wedding is September 24, 2022. I got engaged in March of this year. I have my venue, my caterer, my dj, and my hair/make stylist booked. I have a block of rooms in one hotel booked, I have talked to a second one and must wait until January to officially book a block of rooms in a second hotel and I have an air bnb booked for us. Two weeks ago we got our wedding rings and this weekend I found my dress. I also think I found our florist but am still doing research on that end.
My wedding is just 10 days after yours. I haven't started looking for a dress beyond having styles in mind, but I am thinking of sending Save-The-Dates soon!
Its never too early to start planning! My wedding is 9/17/22! I have my ceremony and reception booked. I will start dress shopping the first weekend of September! I also already have my save the dates picked out just working on some wording!
Hey girl! My wedding is September 10, 2022 and I’m already finished planning it! I bought my dress! It’s never to early. Also if you want specific vendors an early start can never hurt to ensure you get first pick of dates!
Definitely not too early! Depending on where you are located, many venues are booking up for 2022 weekends. Many couples have delayed from 2020 and 2021, so availability for 2022 dates are filling up! I got engaged 12/2020 and had all of my vendors booked by the end of March for our 9/10/22 wedding. Good luck!
It’s never too early to plan! Keep in mind that the weddings from last year are backed up so a lot of venues are booked out till end of 2022. I’ve set our date based on venue availability and booked the vendors. As for dress shopping, save the dates, invites, and the details of the decor, I am slowly looking for inspo and deciding on those. They’re less pressing Bc they don’t necessarily follow a date.
I'm September 9th, 2022. I've already booked my venue and have my dress being custom made. I'm taking engagement photos next month for my save the date
Hello! Congratulations for finding Mr. Right! I’m getting married 7/30/2022! I went dress shopping a month ago and found the one. I’m going to send out invites in April, I think. I’m still trying to find an invitation that I like. Where are you looking for invitations?
There’s no such thing as too early. Start with budget first, then venue. I am getting married July 2022 and have found and made a payment on my dress and venue already! I’ve proposed to my bridesmaids to give them enough time to save for a bridal shower and their dresses.
We got engaged on Valentine’s Day 2021 and our wedding is in September 2022 also but we already booked our venue in May because at least where I am everything has been getting booked extremely quickly because of the Covid pushed events as well as new events. So far we have our venue, the church, a photographer, and we are already talking with a caterer. I imagine we want to send our save the dates until January and probably won’t send the invitation until June/July. I’ve also started looking online at dresses but probably won’t go dress shopping until this winter.
You should start shopping for your dress in Sept/October this year. Invitations won’t go out until 8-10 weeks before your wedding, but you could start looking for Save the Date designs. Those can go out anywhere between 8-12 months in advance depending on whether you’re getting married on a holiday weekend.
Definitely start looking for your dress. My wedding is September 2022 and i started looking for my dress in February and I found my dress in May. Most dresses take between 6-8 months to come in some even take a year.
It isn't too early to begin planning. If the wedding is considered a destination wedding, then you may want to send you Save The Dates in Oct. like I did. I began planning in 9/2019 when I booked the venue for this September. We proposed last yr March and August to the bridal party, I dressed shopped in Sept (there is a national bridal week where all dresses are on sale), bridesmaids shopped Oct to Nov. (That's when we found the dresses), Maid of Honor shopped this past January and found her's in February and everything else has been planned. We are down to our last month and much was already done by April..May. I wanted to rest my brain to prepare for my wedding and marriage and that's exactly what I'm doing as well speak. I hope this helps.
My wedding will be September 24, 2022, Ive been engaged since march and I have all vendors except the florist booked (pretty sure I found my florist already just have to officially book him). We have our wedding rings either ordered or on hand and I found my dress last Saturday. I will be sending my save the dates out in September giving people a year to plan (I have several close friends who have an extremely difficult time getting time off approved so the more notice they have the better) and will be sending official invites in March. Now I am working on all the DIY projects I want to do for the wedding and its nice because I dont feel pressured or rushed.
My wedding is 9.25.22 and I just bought my dress Sunday. It's important to get your dress a year in advance for time for the dress to come in and for alterations!! I'm looking for venues and getting my cater already as well because things fill up quick! Hope this was helpful
I would definitely go dress shopping now so if you need any adjustments made to the dress it’s gives you plenty of time to do so 😉 and it’s not to early to send out save the dates but I would wait till atleast March to send out Invites with rsvp’s. My date is 9-24-22 I got my venue, dress, photographer, videographer, DJ, and my save the dates all sent out last month. Working on getting a caterer, cake, flowers, decor and going to send out invites in May so there not to early and hopefully will get all my RSVP’s back before August that’s my plan anyways 🙂so congratulations!!! And Happy planning 😊
