I'm getting married the week after and got engaged at the end of May. We got the big things out of the way such as venue, photographer and food (since we're doing food trucks for dinner). I scheduled a dress appointment and engagement pictures for October. Our plan is to send save the dates as Christmas cards this year. Other than that we have been enjoying the engaged time period before more intense planning starts. Definitely can wait on the invites!

Our wedding is 9/3/2022! Just signed the venue contract this morning. We’re starting to secure key vendors now! Our preferred florist was already booked.

I’d say too early for invitations, but save the dates would be ok. It’s never too early for wedding dress shopping 🥰

Never too early to start planning. I say start with the venue first and then 9-12 months before your wedding send out the save the date cards or email and 6-8 months before the wedding send out the invitations. Never too early to start looking for the dress too because you'll need to find the one you like and then get it altered to your size if needed and that can take weeks to months. Good luck and have fun is the most important!

My wedding is going to be 9/17/2022 and I am going on 8/1/2021 to look for a dress. It’s never too early to plan and get stuff ready. Better than doing it last minute!

My wedding is September 17, 2022. I have booked my venue and band. Will send out save the dates in January. Due to COVID it was challenging booking.

It's never too early! This way you can work out to the tiniest of details and form a wedding plan with budget that's a great fit for you. Make your timeline work FOR you so you don't feel rushed.

I would say the sooner the better - there are going to be 2x if not more weddings next year due to covid - so whatever you can book early I would say do. The last time I when dress shopping they said to get a dress 10 months out minimally so I'd start looking now. We lost out on three venues, so if you don't have a venue yet make sure you book one ASAP. As for invitations, if you are doing your own you have time. I'm sending out our save the dates really early in case there are more weddings that come up people have an idea of when mine is. Hope that helps. Congrats!

Girlll, I'm on the same boat as you. I'm getting married 9/2/2022. I feel like I'm behind. My friends tell me I'm good. I can start getting sized n seeing what type of dress I want. I think we can start sending save the date. Just in case other might be getting married or booking a trip around that same time. I know my cousin got engaged just a few months ago and planning a wedding same timing as me. So therfore I need ppl to know hellooo my date is coming aswell. 😄

I’m getting married 9/4/22! I have booked the venue, photographer, and we are working on securing our event designer/decor specialist. I plan on going dress shopping in December. I say if you have the time right now, get some things off your plate. We are waiting on invites and save the dates until a early next year.

I don't think there ever is a to early. At least everything will be booked, planned, and there will be less stress on you when the big day gets closer! My wedding is in eight months, and I already am completely planned minus the small details. Also, with the brides from 2020 and this year that have been waiting to get married, there are a lot of vendors getting booked quickly. I ran into vendors that were booked through 2023 and some even through 2024. The earlier the better when it comes to the current condition of the wedding world!!

Mine is September 17, 2022. I have booked my venue and all my vendors. I’ve also already gotten my dress and will be sending save the dates in the next few weeks. Def start planning now. A lot of vendors are filling up quick!

I'm looking for a dress. Already have booked a coordinator, have a mock table center piece, colors chosen, working on invite list, and have created the wedding invitation.
