I’m getting married 09/03/22 I already have venue which includes caterer/cake/tables/linens/silverware/open bar etc I booked videographer and photographer, my day of coordinator, I booked a date for my save the dates photo shoot, I ordered my wedding dress which they said would take 8 months to receive, booked photobooth. Since I’m on the holiday weekend I want to send out saves the dates extra around to allow my guests plenty of time to find lodging. I just need DJ and flowers at this point.

My saving grace has been my wedding planner which I got on Etsy for like $3!

Hey I'm also starting to plan for a Sept 2022 wedding--- in regards to dress shopping, what do you all think is the latest I can afford to start trying on dresses/looking for dresses? I ask bc I am about to have a baby and I will need to give myself time to get back to my normal body size before trying on dresses!!

I booked my date and Venue with in the first 3 weeks and I booked my florist in early March, have slowly been nailing down vendors everything is filling so fast with Covid, I did purchase my dress lol I got it from the last minute bride and it is perfection, guess I was eager, I am currently collecting addresses for my save the dates . It can all be overwhelming

Our date isn’t until 9-17-22 and I already bought my dress and veil and have a venue picked out 🙃 but the venue is a family friends property and I’m hoping to lose weight before the big day obviously 😅 have a bunch of empty wine and liquor bottles, mason jars and signs I got from another bride who got married almost a year ago. Just have to customize for our wedding colors and decor. I’m also working on catering, cake and music now!! Have the caterer and cake lady/design picked already just emailing about details now. I’m dying for more time to spend saving for our honeymoon and spending with family and friends celebrating! 💜💜

When are you due? I think, at the latest, would be right after the holidays.

We moved our date due to COVID and lots of couples are doing the same thing so 2022 is booking up fast! You can set goal dates to have things absolutely done by so that you don’t get swept in planning and lose out on booking, that’s helped us a lot so we can enjoy the planning phases but not lose out once we kept coming back to the same ideas.

We are wedding date twins!! I've already booked the venue, which had no other dates available in September OR October 2022! I also set my bridal party up with a "showroom" on Azazie.com with a color and all of the options of dresses they can get too so they have plenty of time to decide on a dresses and order at the same time when it gets a bit closer to avoid any contrast in colors.

We had the same luck with dates at our venue! I’m asking all my girls to have their dresses ordered by March 2022! We did a try on party together with Azazie. I bought champagne and made a cheese board and had everyone pay for a couple of dresses so we could buy 6 and split the cost but try different dresses, colors and see how some sizes fit. It worked really well and was a lot of fun for us if you have a safe way to coordinate it!

That sounds like so much fun! I could possibly even do it partially virtual, since some of my girls live kind of far. Thanks for the great idea!!

Absolutely!! Especially because of COVID, so many 2021 brides are pushing their weddings to 2022 with venues and vendors booking up quickly!

I purchased my wedding dress already and the owner told me some of the dresses are taking up to 11 months to come in!!!

Save the dates are optional for a lot of brides- you can always do an e-invitation so you don't have to worry about waiting for paper invitations if you really want to send one. Wedding is 9/17/22 and our save the dates are going out next month as we have out of town guests. Invitations won't go until next year closer to the wedding. Good luck! Smiley love

My wedding is 9/10/22 and I already sent save the dates, bought my wedding dress/veil, created a website, gave out my bridesmaid/groomsman proposals, and researched honeymoons! I don’t have much to do now. 😅
