Too early to plan my wedding ?

I’m getting married 9/3/2022 and I’ve started booking my venue, vendors, etc. We’re planning on sending out invites soon and looking for my dress . It’s never too early !!! Good luck !

I’m getting married September 24th 2022! I’m dress shopping this weekend, I’ve booked my venue, wedding cake, photographer, and dj. Currently working on catering! I have booked our engagement/save the date photos and once they come in I am ordering my save the dates, to send out in a couple months! Happy wedding planning!

My wedding is 9/3/22! I just ordered my dress and have a lot of the planning/booking done! I didn’t send out my invites, but I did sent out my save the dates! The good thing about it being far away is it’s easier to budget and no rush, slowly do things as you go along, book things now to lol in this years prices

I'm getting married 9/17/22, so I'm in the same boat as you.

How far along in your wedding planning are you? Do you have your venue and other vendors already? We have all our major vendors booked already (venue, caterer, etc.). I just have to find a hair/makeup team.

For dress shopping, I'm waiting until after Labor Day.

For the guys - I am probably going to start getting ideas now, but won't have them purchase/rent until April/May.

Save the Dates - we're sending out with our Christmas cards in December (as long as we get our engagement photos back by then). We have family that would be traveling from out of state so that'll give them more time to plan.

I have my venue (included food so I don’t need a caterer) photographer, DJ, dress, and am starting the process of making the invites and table decor. Wedding is 9/17/22 I want to enjoy the months leading up to my wedding, not be stressed planning so I plan to have everything done and paid for 6 months in advance

I’m not sure how much you have done. My wedding is 9-17-22 and it seems like there are 5 other brides I am trying to beat the punch to in hiring djs/venue/photographer. Also I am going dress shopping next weekend. Fingers crossed I find one. As far as invitations, I don’t plan on sending those out until I have my engagement photos taken. So I’m thinking like this September/October.

Not too early to start planning...especially with all the Covid delays still. Invitations possibly but you can always send save the dates!

I'm a september 2022 bride! I've booked my venue, photog, caterer, cake, and bought my dress! I'm waiting until early 2022 to send out save the dates though.

My wedding will be 9/21/22 and I have been looking for dresses and other planning. My coworker had mentioned that because of all the weddings being pushed due to covid and the new brides that just got engaged that things might be booking quicker than usual and I don't see the harm in getting things done early. Less stress later on!

Why are you sending invitations over a year before your wedding?

I’d recommend doing save the dates by this September and then do the invitations about 6 months prior to the actual date

I was looking into this as well. My wedding is in September next year as well. I have been told to start looking for a wedding dress and if I’m doing save the dates to send those soon. I did find an article on here about sending I’m the wedding invitations out about 6-8 months before.

I keep going back and forth on that too! I have been trying to nail down a photographer, officiant and DJ so far. We already have a venue. I am really excited to start dress shopping but my wedding isn’t until 9/22/22

my wedding is next year 9/18/22 and girllll let me tell you, specially your dress my dress I said yes back in march and it will take about 9-10 months to arrive !
