Spotify for music - diy Bride - need advice

This is exactly what we did. It worked really well for us but just make sure you have delegated someone to be in charge of the music, to play/pause and raise/lower volume if necessary, and to change the song if people aren’t seeming into it. It’s good to have a playlist to start with, but don’t be married to the playlist... be flexible to mixing it up and going off-playlist based on what songs people are responding most positively to.

We created a playlist on Amazon music. A lot of the music is free but a lot of the songs we wanted, only came with a subscription so we got the subscription which I think is 3 months, a few months before the wedding so we had time to go through and get all the music we wanted then canceled at the end of the time frame so we wouldn't get charged again.

Spotify has an option (it may just be on premium) where you can have songs blending into one another, so in between songs there won't be an awkward gap. Just wanted to share this helpful tip
