Spin off: New last name jokes

Okay, my last name is now BONIN. I'm a high school teacher. My students thought I was JOKING on the first day of school! :-)

My new last name will be "Spigiel." Polish, too. Literally NO ONE can pronounce it correctly- I'm worried our DJ will mess it up. It's pronounced "Sp-E-gull."

My new last name will be Camire. A lot of people say it like "Come here"....so it will be "Camire, like "fire" "

My current name rhymes with steckle. My parents threatened to name the next girl Tess.. Tess steckle. Testicle.

New name rhymes with peesack. So that's great.

My new name will be Yarbrough which people can never spell. My initials will be BEY so my FH keeps saying "ayy bey bey" and then laughs at his own joke.

@Kelsey - Not going to lie, I pronounced it like Camry when I first saw it. It took a couple attempts to get it right.

Current last name is Vlismas (Vul-is-miss) No one can say it or spell it. I have to say it rhymes with Christmas. Now I am renamed Liz Christmas.

New last name will be Peral. Per-ell, Not Perall like the hand sanitizer. Not Pearl. Going from Greek to Cuban.

My name is Paige and my new last name is going to be Turner. I have already started hearing that's a real "Page Turner" lol

I currently have an Italian last name, and I'm constantly having to spell it out. I get lots of people repeating it in cheesy Italian accents, but mainly people love it and compliment me a lot. I've been told it sounds like a Mafia name, or like a fancy purse designer. As a kid, I would've loved nothing more than to trade it for a simple last name. As an adult, I'm kinda sad to lose my unique name in exchange for the ultra boring new last name, Johnson.

My initials with FH's last name will be NFL. And he's a huge football fanatic, so it's pretty funny.

We can never have a daughter named Charlotte because she'd be Charlotte Webb.

I will be Leah lenane. once I get past the urge to sign my name as "Leah Leah"---I will deal with the fact that as long as I live in Georgia, this is apparently the hardest last to spell. it's spelled wrong on bills---even on his drivers license. it's pronounce leh-nayne----how did Comcast come up with lanae?

I am in love with changing my name!! I can't wait to be a Darling ;-)

I will have a Hispanic first name, with a super Asian last name lol so I know it's going to throw people way off to call a Hispanic woman Mrs. Nguyen because I don't look Asian at all lol

New last name will be Bratt.....brothers are already having wayyy to much fun with it

My new last name will be Barber... so I always tell people "like a person who cuts hair, barber". I really liked the name Harrison for a boy but FH pointed out how that would make him Harry Barber.

@FutureMrsKristenS Maybe you can send your DJ a list of how to pronounce the names of everyone in the BP beforehand? My DJ has a document like that and he has each of his clients fill it out. So helpful!

The running joke with my in laws is every girl dreams of marrying a Prince, their last name is Prince.

My new last name is Swartz which means black in German so DH often jokes that we should name our daughter Blanca! Otherwise, despite the more common German spelling that often gets confused with ours, I got super lucky!

Had I kept my maiden name and added his, my initials would have been SACS and my [super mature] husband just thought that was absolutely hilarious!!

So my last name is Pike right now and my first name is Destiny...so I used to get Pestiny Dike growing up...so that was nice...

and I will be going to a generic Jones BUT my middle name is Jo, so my name will be Destiny Jo Jones...so that is fun to say as well.... lol
