Yes! I'm holding my mom and MOHs to making this happen.

The something new is my dress, something borrowed will be my ring since it was given to me by my grandmother, something blue....will come around, we do have turquoise in our wedding colors so it'll be somewhere there and something old will be my great-grandmother's necklace that I'll be wearing.

No, this seems like a hassle to find all the stuff.

Yea to this tradition! Here are mine!

Something old: I think this counts as something old, but I'll be putting a memorial charm on my bouquet with a photo of my great-grandparents wedding in it

    Something new: My wedding dress!

Something borrowed: My mom will be giving me something borrowed but we haven't figured out what yet.

Something blue: I painted the bottom of my ceremony shoes blue with the quote "Happily Ever After" on one shoe and Cinderella's castle on the other

Something old: my grandma’s wedding ring, my bouquet was wrapped in a piece from my mom’s veil, a hankie from my MIL’a wedding that was given to her by her MIL.
Something new: dress, veil, shoes, rings
    Something borrowed: my grandma’s rosary
Something blue: small blue box that we used to carry the rings. This was given to me by my MIL and it belonged to her mother! You can kinda see it in the picture of our ceremony. It was kind of a surprise for my MIL, she didn’t know we planned to use it and I know it meant so much to her!

I loved incorporating this tradition. I didn’t do it for the superstition, but more because I loved involving loved ones and women that have passed away and weren’t able to be there with us. It made it more special.

I didn’t care at first but the more I plan the more I think it’s sweet. I’m using borrowed and old jewelry, a blue garter, and new dress veil earrings and shoes

You forgot to mention the "and a penny (sixpence) in your shoe!"

I am but simply because it happened to work that way. Old - my engagement ring, family heirloom, new - my wedding band, borrowed - earrings from my mom, blue - shoes since our color palette has blue.

You forgot "a six pence in my shoe!" But I will incorporate the tradition in some way.

Yes I am! My something new is going to be my dress. My something old and my something blue are going to be my tanzanite earrings my FH bought me for our 5th dating anniversary. I don't have the something borrowed figured out yet, but I'll figure that out closer to the day!

Personally not into the older wedding traditions. I'm going to do me and stress less over these kinds of things.

I think it's cute Something old would be jewelry given to me from my parents who are no longer here. New would be my dress and the blue would be a piece of jewelry with my birthstone sapphire. I just need the borrowed.
