I encourage you to love and accept yourself as/is and not put the huge pressure on yourself to lose weight. You have enough to worry about! Your fiancée loves you for you and you can look gorgeous I so many styles. I’m a size 18/20 in normal clothes and had to order a size 22 in my gown. I tried it on a few days ago and it’s too big so these pictures look a little funny! I’m including one of myself in a fitted gown I tried on.

I second anyone who said David’s Bridal. I’m a plus size bride at a size 20 and they were so accommodating and had so many options there for me to try on. Also I recommend especially if you’re a plus size bride with some bigger girls in the bra area that you get a bustier. They give you a sample one at David’s Bridal to try on with your dresses but it’s actually comfortable and keeps the girls in!

I actually found that I like the fitted gowns best and I’m plus size. I wear a 16-18. Here is some of them on me. To me the ones that are not fitted make me feel and look bigger

View Quoted Comment It's ready to be collected now because I got it off the rack didn't have to order it. I just got to pay the $$423.57 I still owe on it.

Girl go for the fitted dress! Personally, they show off your curves in all the right places rather than hiding yourself under a bunch of fabric. Wear some spank shorts or whatever makes you comfortable, BUT most dresses have such a great lining or corset you that you wont even need them! Good luck and be confident in yourself!

My biggest tip would be to go with an open mind! I'm also a plus size bride and when I went shopping for my dress I had already blocked out certain types of dresses I did not want to even try on. Well, the lady helping me at the bridal salon talked me into trying on one of the dress types I really didn't want to try on b/c of my body shape and it actually ended up being the dress I fell in love with and bought!
