Should I wear a necklace with my halter top wedding dress?

I wouldn't, but I think that if you do it should be something very simple.

I think the necklace would definitely be too much with the neckline of your dress. The dress sort of acts as the necklace, itself..and a beautiful one at that!

I would say no to the necklace, but if you really want to wear one maybe a single pearl drop necklace like this one.

I had a halter and I did not. I think as the others have said you bling out with earrings and maybe a bracelet. Anything more would be overkill!

My parents gave it to me on my high school graduation,it is PERFECT!!!

I think you can wear a necklace but what kind all depends on you. i think you should go to the department store and just try on a bunch of different styles.

I agree with the posts previously made. I would say no to a necklace but I would go with some dangling earrings and a nice simple bracelet.

Usually with the halter neckline, it's either no necklace or a simple pendant or a Y drop.

I was told no, however felt naked without a necklace. I bought one to wear and put it on and up for vote with my bms the day of my wedding. they all said yes, so I wore it. I will see if I can post a pic....

I just chose a halter style dress from my wedding and I am NOT wearing a necklace. I think a nice bracelet and long drop dangling earrings will work just fine! It's a beach wedding and I don't want to overdo it with "bling". Plus it'll be more comfortable with no necklace scratching against my neck with the halter and CHEAPER- no necklace to buy!
