Hi everyone, we're looking for some help and advice. We are planning to have custom shot glasses for our wedding and intend for them to be used during the wedding as well as taken after as presents.

First question is therefore, if anyone has suggestions as to where to produce these?

Once produced, we would like to attach some sort of ribbon/tag to the glass to identify the recipient, but not too big so that they can keep it on during the wedding (and so drink from them).

Second questions is then, how would you recommend we do this? Any tips/advice?

Thanks very much in advance for your help!

With your professional vocabulary, (f*cking this, f*cking that, you idiots, etc.), you'll make a marvelous impression on your clientele. I'm rooting for your success, Jessica. I'd love to hear what you have to say when you, the wedding planner, are named as one of the vendor defendants when the "Cut the trained, licensed, and insured bartenders and just hand the guests their bottles of 80 Proof" goes horribly wrong.

And really...what's the difference between a bottle of wine and a bottle of vodka? That's a question for your local liquor store owner. Go ahead...ask him.

@celia - agreed. @krystal, I hope you have extra space in your cabinet for shot glasses.

Oh yes cause I was serious about being a planner. Like I'd want to deal with a bunch of whinny bitches like yourselves. I'd kill myself. And no I did not say wine and vodka are the same thing. My point was that you get drunk off of all those things not just shots. So really what's the difference when drinking wine vodka beer or shots and becoming drunk and leaving your wedding and driving home and crashing? It's the same drunk and it's the same risks. You people are too stupid to realize. And apparently very stupid if you thought I was serious about becoming a wedding planner.

Well, Centerpiece, she DOES have dual identities, which would clearly be useful as a planner. And a real skill for diplomacy.

    I think it's a perfect career path.

@emmy yes I have plenty of cabinet space for all the shot glasses that no one is going to take from my wedding.

I like how masmer respectfully bowed out like 10 years ago but this thread is still going.

I was thanking nicolita. She said she's been to parties like that and they turn into a shit show. You miss every point.

    Validating everyone's point.

I should have known better than to incorporate sarcasm in a post directed at someone who uses the word "whinny" to describe the "bitches" on WW? What is this, a stable? Sarcasm requires a certain intellect to discern, so I apologize.

Secondly, I wasn't referring to you when I mentioned the wine/vodka comparison. I was referring to something Kathleen wrote. Usually, she gives good advice, but today, like Celia, I'm confused about her opinion (moreso because she's a vendor).

Lastly, try practicing writing items in a sequence using commas, Jessica. I read your post and you make it sound like "wine vodka beer" is some sickening mixed drink. It's wine, vodka, beer, or shots. However, to answer your question, two bottles of wine at the table might give a few guests a warm flush, but a bottle of vodka and whiskey with shot glasses and no mixers is going to trash a few guests. No, we're not too stupid to realize anything. If you understood alcohol content, body weight, and rate of absorption and elimination, you'd understand too, but you're still working on sarcasm and commas.
