Hi everyone, we're looking for some help and advice. We are planning to have custom shot glasses for our wedding and intend for them to be used during the wedding as well as taken after as presents.

First question is therefore, if anyone has suggestions as to where to produce these?

Once produced, we would like to attach some sort of ribbon/tag to the glass to identify the recipient, but not too big so that they can keep it on during the wedding (and so drink from them).

Second questions is then, how would you recommend we do this? Any tips/advice?

Thanks very much in advance for your help!

The point is bartenders are there to moderate the consumption.

I just think you guys don't need to worry about the people at her wedding. She can do that herself.

Has anyone actually read the question? She wasn't asking for approval on shot glasses. She simply wanted to know where to buy and how to add the name. I think her idea is awesome. She knows her guest. I would totally take a shot and keep my glass even if the name was on it with wedding date. You guys can be so harsh for no reason.

I find it hilarious some posters cant understand that downing a shot in 2 seconds is in a WHOLE different ballpark than pouring yourself a glass of wine and drinking it over a 30 minute period. ABV: how does it work?

Jessica, are you avoiding the legal question of not having a licensed bartender because you don't have a response or you just don't give a shit?

    LOL STACI!

She also mentioned doing something that could lead to her being sued. That's why we moved from the personalized shot glasses to the bottles of whiskey and vodka on each table.

OS- I would love a weed centerpiece.

Nah M, she was too busy making a sock puppet account named "Kendra" to agree with herself with to answer those pressing questions.

I've said this before, I'll say this again.

If the question is "I want to punch my grandmother in the face, what's the best way to do that?"

Fucking no one is going to tell you the best way to do a terrible thing.

Personally, I'm waiting to hear about the round of whip-its to be passed out during the cake cutting.

Weed sounds like an awesome idea too. Smoking is better then drinking anyways. No legal bartender yea there will be trouble. I say do the shot glasses with tags with people's names on them. Do what you want to do for your wedding. I'm sure people in your family or friends would help you figure out a way to do it without getting in trouble and be able to have fun still. And I would so keep the shot glass cause it is an awesome memory for everyone to have.

I feel so much secondhand embarrassment right now. The cringe is palpable.

I have to say, this is one of the funniest threads NOT on a Wednesday ever! It's the perfect antidote to Cranky Pants Monday.

I think the OP should skip the shot glasses all together and just do tumblers and bottles on each table. Why the bother of pouring multiple shots when you can just pour one giant glass of vodka? So much activity for so little payoff!
