Short Brides

Yep..5ft here. Needless to say I am wearing 5 inch heels for the ceremony so that i'm not the shortest person in the wedding party

I love my short stature though

I am only 5 foot, too. Going with high heels for ceremony and reception.. I love me some high heels!! FI is about 6 foot, MOH is like 5'10' (she will be in fancy flip flops!) and then the best men are FI three boys.. so they are about my height or a little shorter!! With my heels they will all be shorter!

I'm 5'2 and FH is 6''ft tall. But he loves my short stature! He even wants me to wear flats on our wedding day, which I flatly told him no. I don't want him to have to bend over to the waist to "kiss his bride."

I don't think I'll go 5 inches (i don't wear heels very often) but I'll at least wear a 3-4 inch heel.

I'm 5'3" and my FH is 6" 1"...but once I put on my 4inch to 5inch heels....It's allll good....plus he likes looking down into my boobies lolol

I am 5'1'' and my FH is 6'4''.. Yeah I'm wearing my cowboy boots that have a small heel and the foot difference is a lot and as far as dancing, we have taken dance classes so it doesn't seem to be a big deal. I wouldn't have it any other way.

My photographer has actually come up with some really cute ideas that play with the fact that he is so much taller then me!

I'm 5'2, but FH is only like 5'7-5'8. He said he always wanted a short girl and he got one. I'll be wearing something with a low heel (about an inch or two).

As far as wedding party, my MOH is only 5'0 (she's my BFF, can you tell why). Other bridesmaids around 5'7. But the groomsmen are all around 6'0 or taller.

I'm 5'2" and FH is 6'5" I'm just going to have to wear 3 inch heels and look like a munchki. I can't tolerate heels that are too high for very long and certainly not for a day of walking around in a 15 pound dress and dancing. LOL. Good luck to all the other vertically challenged brides. :-)

I'm 5'3" and my FH is 5'10". I already told him I am wearing heels! Haha. I will still probably be the shortest in the party though.

I'm 5'3 and DH is 6'2. I only wore small heel., I like being short, I like how small I am next to him.

I'm 5'2 and my FH is 6'0 tall too. I plan on wearing some funky colorful platform shoes under my dress...it's long so it should balance us out a little.

Hey Laura! I'm 5'1" and my FH is close to 6'. Don't worry, remember, he fell in love with you just the way you are. So who cares what people will think. I'm planning on wearing heals at the ceremony and then changing to flats later on at the reception. It's your day, just enjoy it.

I'm 5'2/ 5'3 on a good day...actually, forget that. I actually like being small. I am proud to have my tall (6'3), dark and handsome FH. I'm going to wear 3.5" heels, so we'll still have quite the height differential going on. My BMs range in height from 5'4-5'8, so I'll more than likely be the shortest one in the wedding party.

Looks like I am not the only vertically challenged one here! At a wedding that I was in last year, the shoes hurt so much that I was dancing barefoot making me even shorter and he got down on his knees to slow dance with me, it was so cute and made for an awesome picture haha.

I so wish I was vertically challenged. I stand 5'9" and he is 6'. I use to avoid wearing heels when we went out.

I am 5'1", I wore 5 1/2 inch heels on my wedding day ( my hubby is 6'3")! They are actually my most comfortable pageant heels! lol

I'm 5'3" and FH is 6'0". I intend on wearing plain jane 3" heels. I don't want to be as tall as him. And he likes that I'm small.
