Hi ladies, I'm new here and very recently got engaged ( October 23rd!). I was wondering if there are any other short brides out there. I am 5 feet, that is all and my fiance (eep!) is over 6 feet..I feel like I am going to look more like a flower girl than a bride and that our first dance will look...

I'm new here and very recently got engaged ( October 23rd!). I was wondering if there are any other short brides out there. I am 5 feet, that is all and my fiance (eep!) is over 6 feet..I feel like I am going to look more like a flower girl than a bride and that our first dance will look more like father/daughter..ugh lol

I'm 5'2" and my fiance is 5'8" so not that big of a height difference. I am not wearing heals (anything higher than 1 inch makes my dress just a little bit too short) I'm happy to be short...although I must say I always feel taller than I actually am. haha

Cute pic of you dancing! lol - I'm 5'1 and FI is 6ft so yes I definitely will be wearing heels

My wife, NotFroofy, is 5'1" and I'm 5'9". Both of my children and both of my siblings are taller than NotFroofy. And to make things worse, in many of our formals, she ended up standing on a depression in the lawn, which made her look even shorter. She was most grateful for my sister-in-law, the one person who was about her height.

I'm 5'4" and he is about 6'1". I don't feel too short next to him when I'm barefoot.

I;m not as short as you but I'm short. I am 5'3'' and a half. almost 5' 4''.
My Fh is 6' 1''.
I am used to it. When we hug he's gotta bend down. In the pic in my avatar I am wearing heels, though I don't normally wear heels.

I'm 5 feet tall and my fianceé is 6' 2". I'm also concerned that I will look like a child playing dress-up in a wedding dress. I am considering a shorter dress instead of the long flowing dress
