@Taco I've reached out to the ones not on the list anymore (mostly friends and cousins) and let them know that the wedding was post poned and the guest list was downsized and they are no longer invited. ( Invitations haven't been sent out)

Y'ALL. My photo should not be associated with this thread. This regal cat is trying to celebrate a joyous occasion, not simply be a place holder for an ill advised shower.

I would call guests right now. Let them know the wedding is postponed for more than a year - still excellent choice by the way - and ask them not to bring gifts. Also remove everything form your registry not purchased so no one last min shops.

I personally would be unhappy about attending a shower for an event that may or may not happen. You need to call your guests tonight and let them know what's going on.
