Super September 2013

Please let me know what you think of the invites and RSVP's...

Marie, on February 27, 2013 at 5:40 AM Posted in Planning 0 9

I did some earlier with RSVP's that matched, but you wonderful ladies told me they were to dark (which was SOOOO true).

The date on the invite is just a date I put in...not sure what the date should be.

Thanks

They're very pretty! For us, our RSVP date was March 9th, our date is March 30 and our headcount is due March 9th so I think August 15 is a little early.

I would make the date no more than a month before the wedding (depending on when your count is due, the number sent which determines how many you'll have to follow up with).

Also, for us it was important to know who was coming for escort cards so we added a line for "names of attending" but that depends on your wedding.

I think they look great! I like the color contrast!

I love it! Our invitations are going out 8 weeks before the wedding and our RSVPs are 3 weeks before the wedding.

I think they look great! Smiley smile When I send mine out, I'm going to ask people to RSVP a month in advance (that way I have time to chase people down if need be, plus need to have head count in, plus need to figure out logistics of how things will be setup at the venue).

    Color is much better.

Font size and spacing needs to be tweaked a little. You are too close to the edges.

size 20 or 22 for your names

size 14 or 16 for the invite

Same with the rsvp... you need to be size 12 or 14. You need more empty space around the words.

Don't forget to upgrade to the matte paper so they can write on it. If you are going to do matte for the rsvp, you should do it for the invite too.

    Very pretty design!

Our wedding is November 30 and I'm asking people to let us know by November 15. I need to give the caterer the final headcount by November 23. We're having a small wedding so I shouldn't have to hunt many people down for RSVPs.

    PS - cards look great!!

    Love the cards!

My RSVP date is March 30th and wedding is April 27th. But I know I will have to track people down...

You forgot a comma after the city.

And, you can spell out your words if you want it to look a little more formal

    Avenue

    twenty-eighth

    two thousand thirteen

    four o'clock

Also, is the reception starting right after the ceremony, back to back?
