   Paul and I met online and spoke for months and months. We became friends before meeting. We spoke about our friends and families. Then one day I asked Paul if it was okay that I made him supper. I asked him if he liked spaghetti, it's my specialty.  So on April 24, 2010 I went over to his apartment and not only met him for the first time but I also made him supper. It was, as they say, meant to be. We started to date after that. We put off our families meeting before we knew something was there because we are both pretty close to our family and didn't want them to get attached.    October 3rd, 2011 Paul and I were at Kildonan Place getting a board game to play with his family. We were supposed to pick up his mom from work just down the street so we were walking around the mall and got to the centre court where there are 3 or 4 jewellery stores. He asked if I wanted to look and possibly pick a ring. So we went to People's and I was describing the ring that I wanted. I looked down and said, "Actually this is what I want". The girl helped us put an order through for it. She was telling us we can change anything on the ring. Paul was trying not to scream to the girl "shut up". LOL We had to wait up to 12 weeks for the ring to come in. Thankfully we only had to wait a lot less than that. October 26th, 2011 I had the day off from work and we got a phone call! "Your ring is in" we moved so fast out the door. That night we told my mom and dad. Some stuff helped my mom understand why I had been ignoring her for the last couple weeks. She insisted on calling everyone she could think of to tell them that I was getting married. The following night we told Paul’s mom and family. We just happened to be having a game night that night at his parents place. Then we had to plan the nice simple wedding that we wanted… HA! Turns out nice and simple is just a pipe dream, it’s not possible with big families.
