Weddings cost a serious chunk of change, but couples still tend to underestimate how much they’ll spend on their wedding. Will you be over or under the average budget of $29,200? (Not including your engagement ring or honeymoon!) Is that more or less than you thought you’d spend on your wedding?

    Haha, I love the picture! Smiley xd We originally thought we could plan a wedding for around $5,000 (before seeing how much everything actually costs). Our wedding will end up being around $13,000 total. That is a big difference, but still a lot lower than the "average," so...winning! lol

    Under - I'm budgeting $7k and so far, so good. May have to bump it up $1k, but if it doesn't fit.. it's not getting bought.

    Lol way over, but I live in NY and will be having a 200 guest wedding. All in were looking at about 40K

    Well, this number doesn't include the honeymoon, so I guess you could try and tell yourself that the honeymoon is a whole different story. If that would make you feel better. Smiley winking

    Over. And over what we initially thought. We thought we could get away with about $25k but ended up pretty much doubling that. We just didn't know what our "vision" costed until we started getting quotes.

    Waaaayyyyyyy under nowhere even near that amount. Thank God. That is a down payment on a new house, we wanna be able to live and be happy after the wedding day...
