But you specifically were not unbiased in that other post. You agreed with the other rockstars - did nothing about the user who called others usernames and didn't adress the issue of the other rockstar who specifically said certain users are too mean for giving honest opinions.

You were biased toward your teammates and did nothing to support those of us who are members of the community at large...

?? I'm confused. Jo and I and all of the the administrators and moderators have the ability to lock and remove everyone's discussions including our own. That's part of the point!

ETA: Misread your comment! Yes Rockstars can lock their own discussions as well. But no it's not a tool to just use whenever you want. As we've said, we will be reviewing every action that is taken!

AND to remove the doggonit character minimum. And the ban on cursing.

Some of these so called “rock stars” need to be told to familiarize themselves with the rules of these forums. I don’t get involved much but read the comments and one “rock star” in paticular really needs to read the rules of the board... she is setting a horrible example to posters new and old.

I've locked the intro thread. There was a lot going on there. It had gotten off topic (an intro to the new Rockstars) to a debate about the Rockstar program, daily chats, technical changes that have been made... and Rockstars are not the best people to handle those types of questions, so you can share them here or you can email me. And I saw a number of Community Guidelines violations, they have been removed but I want to stop that thread from devolving into back and forth insults. It's the Rockstars first day so we will do more training and preparation and there will be lots of time to get to know them. For now email feedback to me at community@weddingwire.com, and questions can go in this thread so I can answer them. I'm sorry I wasn't able to be more help in the other thread.

Um, thanks for the lesson. I already knew this and has nothing to do with what I said. Princess said she thought Rockstars were picked because they're positive. I was telling her that Lynnie said positivity was not the point of being a Rockstar.

I simply had told her that I experienced similar things when I first started participated. It was a fact - just that.

I'm not an Administrator. I was dubbed as a Rockstar, and I am happy that I was chosen to be one. I'm not here to create arguments, just to encourage conversations and meet users.

I would like to know why the rockstars weren't fully trained before going live. You basically just sent people an email saying "surprise heres your new title" and then let them loose on the community.

Also as for the rockstars who noticed CG's and supported them or went ahead and violated the CGs on their own will something be done?

Maybe you should train before you unveil them.

Administrators-
I know you said you will review locks, but can there be a feature where locking isn't anonymous? That way if we as users start to notice someone who's always quick to lock we cam reach out to you and express our concern?

If anything, this rockstar thing seems like it'll just add to your plates. Not only will you be looking at flagged comments, you'll also have an extra group to monitor and ensure they aren't abusing their power. To be honest, it seems like that's already started to happen. Suddenly certain rockstars find it okay to violate CG to discuss those who disagree with views from their own.
