Rockstars have been prepped with tools, guides, and information about their new roles and can take time to consider whether this is something they wish to participate in. Of course thought, training and monitoring will continue throughout their term and we will take what we've learned today to design further trainings. I'm sorry I wasn't able to watch this thread as well as the Rockstars' intro thread closely but you can keep asking me questions here and emailing in your feedback.

I guess I don’t understand why you’d give someone full power before training. I’ve never worked somewhere that it’s a good idea to give someone who HAS NO CLUE WHAT THEY ARE DOINGand on their first day full access to everything they can potentially do.

like giving rockstars abilities to lock threads without explaining what it is lock-worthy and what’s expected of them.

Looks like the rock stars are already abusing their power by flagging comments that arent against the CGs. They dont know the CGS.

Calling out specific users in a negative manner or to draw negative attention, for CG vios or not , is a CG vio always!

It was not a negative manner. We were pointing out that a rockstar was showing an obvious biased toward users who have opinions that disagree with hers! Taking down comments for that seems like its the opposite of fostering community...

I like this idea too! I think it would help promote fairness and maybe make Rockstars really consider why they are locking a thread before using their powers to do so.

Thanks! and I know I've asked for this before, but also please don't forget about bringing back the explanation box for when you flag something. I think people need to be able to explain in a sentence or two why they've flagged something, and for mods to see if it's even a justifiable flag. it would help both sides here.
