I posted a thread a little while ago asking about this. How were these new rockstars chosen? And how can you ensure fairness when giving them the ability to lock discussions?

Great questions! This is the first time we are trying out this new type of Rockstar program with new abilities and responsibilities, so this group was chosen by the Community Team. All our Rockstars are very active posters who participate frequently, but we also made sure we selected a range of members at different stages in their planning process, from several different states and time zones, who post in different groups and at different times of day.

And to ensure fairness, all Rockstar actions are reviewed by the Community Team.

None are brand new, all are very active, know the community and it's rules, and have a a proven history of starting discussions and commenting regularly. This is a big community, and because we chose a range of members who post at different times of day and in a variety of groups it’s very possible you won’t know every Rockstar - yet!

We’ve invited a few less than 20 members to join us. Some are still considering whether they have the time to commit to the Rockstar program, but from today you’ll start seeing them around the community, they'll have a blue and white star on their profile pictures.

Geez I use the app every day and I literally don't recognize any of the RockStars...

Same... Multiple times a day, various hours of the day...

Why weren't any of the remaining regulars, or known users asked?? Like Mrs. Fall Bride and Mrs BdeG, have been around for a while, both are always offering good advice and answering/asking questions.

Can we have a list/intro of all of the new rockstars so we can get to know them better?

What criteria will they be using to lock a post?

We don't have a list to share right now because some are still considering whether they have the time to commit to the Rockstar program, but you'll start to see them around the community today commenting and re-introducing themselves
