I am just saying if you are going to read that sentence in the CG's literally, we'd be gone too.

It would be nice/helpful if there could be something distinguishing when someone is posting who is a MOB or bridal party member like they have that noted below their name rather than the badges all the engaged/married people have. The CGs should be edited too, but that probably won't happen.

To clarify - you can join WeddingWire and post in the community as a guest, or member of a wedding party, or as a parent of a bride or groom!

Our new community platform is tied to user accounts (as opposed to vendor accounts), and that is why there is no longer vendor participation. Vendors and brides and grooms have totally different accounts, views, and tools on WeddingWire - as your goals are totally different!

Hi Raven! Points and levels absolutely help show who is established in the community. The Rockstar program is a way for us to acknowledge some active users who we consistently notice being positive forces in the community and rewards them with some extra powers to help us keep the community organized and easy to navigate.

I randomly hop on to see the forums now and think wow...what a hot mess!!! Man, I miss DC.

I didn't understand that either. Is there a way to add something under their name when they post to show how they are related to wedding planning?

You can tell if someone is a guest or relative because they do not have a level beneath their name or a displayed wedding date!

I'll take the blame! I tend to say "engaged couples and newlyweds" since that is most of our community!

I saw Mrs.Whoooooo, I'm just catching up reading through the whole chat. It's disappointing, and more disappointing to see that the users who I looked for advice left because of it.

I tried to become a valuable member of the community in that absence, shared advice when I could, and gave constructive criticism when it warranted. And it bothers me because those that I would expect to see as Rockstars aren't. And I get that it's a rotating title, but no rockstar rollout should have happened until everyone had a chance to review.

I'm with most of the previous users where I'm still a little stung by the 'upgrade' rollout and how it was handled. I am not sure that the mods have ever really explained why it happened that way with no notice.

A bit late, but I also find the re-addition of the rockstar program quite confusing. Good luck to the new crop of inductees, but it seems that there are others who are true rock stars, even without the title, who were overlooked. I'm very grateful for the advice that I've gotten from some of the old regulars, and still value their advice, even if it's harder to find sometimes.

And, here's another vote for bringing back daily chat, the like button and swearing.

You can also delete the title after you've put one in and then uploaded the picture. Just delete the bold text before posting the comment.

I don't understand why it would matter what capacity a user is here in.
