Norcal Pet Friendly Inclusive Affordable Wedding

Hi!
My fiancé and I will be having our wedding in October 2022 in Northern California because I grew up there. We want our 2 Basset Hounds to be in the ceremony to walk down the aisle, but we also want an inclusive wedding so we don’t have to worry about the stress of a DIY wedding. The dogs don’t have to be a part of the reception: I know how some all inclusive places don’t allow that due to food licensing. Our budget is $10k for everything including photographer, DJ etc. Does anyone know of any wedding venues in Northern California that offer this?

Hi there Stacie! We chose a pet-friendly town first off. I too live in Nor Cal. We went with Monterey/Carmel but Santa Cruz is also pet-friendly. We hired an wedding planner Kathee to do all the officiating, flowers, location, marriage license, cake and champagne for our small, Covid friendly (<10) coastal wedding. Since Covid impacts our plans we are having a small group just family to attend but we are covering the hotel stay for the weekend and a whole list of fun activities. It’s more intimate and special that way for 8/8/2021 wedding weekend. To celebrate with the broader group of friends and family we decided to plan just a reception for March/April of 2022 with 100+ folks.

The Fairview properties have great all-inclusive packages that look affordable (Fairview Oakhurst, Fairview Crystal Springs, Fairview Metropolitan) and Wedgewood Weddings is known for their full service options (Jefferson Street Mansion, Fresno Fields, and Union Brick).
These venues also offer all-inclusive packages: Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel and Spa, The Tahoe Ridge Resort, Winchester Mystery House, Regale Winery (Micro-Wedding Package for 50 or fewer guests), Roaring Camp Weddings (Pop Up Wedding Packages), and Vida Buena Farm.
Double Eagle Resort and Spa, Hotel Cabaña, La Grande Estates and Big Water Grille in Tahoe are also worth checking out (not fully inclusive, but affordable for venue rental & catering) and Casa Bella features several wedding photos with dogs in them! 🐾
