I can’t express how perfect our wedding was at Regale Winery. The venue is absolutely stunning and had everything we were looking for. This venue is the perfect size for an intimate wedding. The garden is picturesque and every part of the venue adds a lovely touch to your wedding, from the adorable barn to the overhanging reception lights. There is so much to explore at this venue with so many gorgeous photo spots.

Aside from the beauty of this venue, the coordinators and service of the staff was spectacular. We initially worked with Brennan who was very helpful in providing resources and tips on the vendors. We then had the pleasure of working with Hayle, who was so receptive and helpful. She is absolutely the best! She helped us coordinate all the small details of our wedding and helped provide a clear vision of what the day would look like. We wouldn’t know what we’d do without her! The same can also be said about Sophie, who helped us on our rehearsal day and was our day of coordinator. We absolutely loved working with her and could not have had such a perfect wedding without her.

I had the absolute pleasure of planning and coordinating a wedding at Regale Winery, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about both the venue and their manager, Janelle. From start to finish, the hospitality, professionalism, and genuine friendliness we experienced were outstanding.

Janelle went above and beyond to make sure everything flowed seamlessly. She was attentive, accommodating, and truly cared about creating the best possible experience for the couple and their guests. Her warm personality made working together not only easy but enjoyable.

The winery itself is a stunning backdrop for wedding: elegant, romantic, and filled with natural beauty. It was the perfect setting for an unforgettable celebration, and with Janelle’s support, everything came together beautifully.

When we toured Regale, we absolutely fell in love. Our decision to hold our small, intimate wedding there was so simple. The refined elegance of the winery, located in the Santa Cruz mountains with gorgeous views and within 25 minutes to the Santa Cruz beach, was the answer to what we had been envisioning for our wedding weekend. And shockingly, the cost was very reasonable. It was the perfect venue for us, and our guests were so impressed with how beautiful and magical it was. We had to make a last minute change to move our dinner reception indoors to the upstairs area due to chillier-than-expected weather in early October, and the Regale staff were very accommodating. However, it did mean that I could not use that gorgeous upstairs area as my bridal suite, which I was a tad bummed about but hey, sometimes you just gotta role with the punches. Since we wanted a fall wedding (when nights can start getting chilly), we appreciated having the option to move everything indoors, if needed.

We loved having our wedding on a Friday (when the winery is closed to the public)— it felt so private and special as we arrived. Some people might be turned off with how early you need to leave on a Friday evening, but we did not end the party at Regale— we shuttled everyone to an after party… 100% recommend that!

The winery team was very professional, and the wine service was fantastic. The one thing I would suggest is to test the speakers and sound system beforehand. We had some issues with our music (we didn’t have a DJ, since my husband and I are huge music nerds and wanted to curate our own playlists that perfectly accompanied the event). There were some specifications for the AV connection that we were not aware of, which resulted in a delay and some annoyance, but we moved past it. The mic that Regale provided also produced some feedback during my vows (hoping our genius videographer can figure out how to edit it out!).

That being said, I would HIGHLY suggest Regale for your small (under 50 person) wedding. Just visit it, have a glass a wine, and you’ll fall in love. Thanks to Elaine and the whole Regale team for hosting us. We can’t wait to come back and enjoy some wine, taking in the beauty of the gardens and the mountains, while reflecting back on the most beautiful day of our lives.

Amazing location, everything is beautiful. You won't need many additional decorations because you don't want to take away from the beauty of the venue. The only downside is for a Saturday wedding, because their tasting hours go until 4PM, your event can only be from 5PM - 10PM. Things felt a little rushed as we moved from ceremony to cocktail hour to dinner to dancing, but I still had the best day ever. The staff is really friendly and welcoming and I really can't say enough about how beautiful the grounds are.

We held our wedding ceremony at Regale and it was the perfect setting! The beautiful gardens have a variety of flowers in bloom and there is a large fountain, lawns for ceremony seating, and a bocce ball area for guests. There are so many spots on the grounds for amazing photos.

We enjoyed all of our visits and of course wine tasting leading up to our day. The wine selection is great and we especially loved the sparkling rosé.

As it is a winery and they have nearby neighbors, there are a few restrictions in place (i.e. noise concerns, no drones, etc.), and also a preferred vendor list. As long as you're able to work within their guidelines, you should be able to find the right balance and make it work.

Lindsay and Hayle were very helpful throughout the entire process and always very organized and responsive. For our rehearsal and wedding day, Hayle was great at providing guidance for the ceremony procession and ensuring that we were on schedule.

We love this venue and will always cherish the memories from our wedding there!

My husband and I had our wedding here just a few days ago, but I'm so happy with the experience that I have to share! Everything was just so perfect. The venue itself is just riddled with roses, lavender, pomegranate buds, olive trees, grape vines, etc - so much so that there's very little decorating needed. They even have market lights outside as well as fairy lights surrounding the tree trunks. The view is also spectacular and there's not much else needed.

Brennan and the crew really took care of us leading up to and the day of. They've been so helpful and so sweet throughout the whole process. I couldn't have been happier with EVERYTHING Regale had to offer us. Thanks for being so wonderful!

We had a beautiful wedding at Regale. The grounds are stunning & our guests really enjoyed themselves. The wine was great & the staff was helpful. We went through 3 Wedding Coordinators during the planning stages as they had some changes in staffing, but it was all handled fairly seamlessly & we ended up just adoring the woman who actually handled our event.

The bridal suite was perfect for the girls to get dressed and do any final touches that were needed & the lighting was so perfect for pictures. All the spaces we used worked so well together. When we originally toured the winery I didn’t care for the barrel room, but it was great for dancing with all of our guests.

If you’re looking for a Tuscan Villa-Esque venue, this is perfection. I’ve attached pictures to highlight the venue

My wife wrote a brutal review of the Regal Winery. The response from ownership to her review was worse and filled with inaccuracies. First let me put our experience into the correct context. My wife’s cousins live in Santa Cruz. Regal is their favorite winery. They have 2 children. Boy age 15 and a daughter age 13. We had 3 of our 4 kids with us. Young men age 23 and 21. We also had our 8 year old going on 20 daughter. We arrived early on Saturday morning for a wine tasting and our cousins are members. The gate was closed. A well dress woman opened the gate. We drove into the parking lot and parked. Besides our cousins and their two kids, my wife’s aunt and uncle were also with us. The woman greeted us at the cars and walked us to the front door and into the winery. All of us, including the kids. The place was beautiful. Our cousins put in the order for the tasting and all of the kids and the aunt and uncle went outside and sat in the garden. My wife, her cousins and myself proceeded outside. The garden area was beautiful. As we were walking from the door, a lady in a tattered white painters t-shirt approached us. She looked at me and asked me who was in charge of the group. I told her it wasn’t me and pointed her to the cousins. She kept walking towards me. She walked right up to me and told me that kids were not allowed on the property. I said ok. My philosophy in life as a business owner is, if someone doesn’t want my money, then I am good spending it somewhere else. My wife’s cousins didn’t take it so well. They informed the t-shirt lady that they had been to the winery many times, about 10 minutes from their house, and that their children were almost always with them. The t-shirt lady wasn’t having it. As the cousins were talking to the t-shirt lady, I instructed our children and my wife to leave. Our car was parked right outside of the gate and that is where my wife, kids, aunt and uncle and myself exited. The cousins soon followed after voicing their dismay the t-shirt lady. As we stood outside at the car, I pulled up a review from the Regal site from a family who had recently visited the winery, with a child. They stated how great it was and even took pictures. They were not asked to leave. When I walked back in and showed it to the well dressed woman who did take the time to read it, the t-shirt clad woman came out of nowhere stating that she heard what was said in the review and demanded that I leave. As she walked up to me, I asked her not to follow me because she got really close to me. As I walked out discussing the review with the child in it, she berated me. She yelled that we left from the gate and we were suppose to leave from the door. She kept following me and getting closer and I told her to stop and that I was leaving. As I walked out of the gate, continuing to ask her to stop following me, she yelled she felt threatened. At first I was shocked. The whole family was in the parking lot together, they see her following me, they hear me asking her not to and she stated she felt threatened. I heard that old dog whistle before. All I could think of is who is this Karen? The situation bothered my wife and she wrote a pretty intense review. The response from the winery was disappointing. Every response to a negative review was positive except for the response to my wife. Even if you don’t agree with her, I would expect a response respecting her view and offering an apology, even if you felt what she said was not how the ownership felt. I assume the lady in the t-shirt was not the owner and as a business owner, unless you went back to video of the incident, you should be careful in how you respond to consumer concerns. Luckily for us, we have been visiting wineries all over California with all of our kids and had never had an issue. I don’t have an issue with your policy, I have an issue with your response to the complaint.
