Non Traditional Venue

Niray, on December 14, 2018 at 2:30 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 67
Is anyone else getting married in a non traditional venue? I’m getting married in a warehouse which is really cool and it honestly looks abandoned on the outside when you first see it. A trolly will bring our guest to the venue from a parking lot and they will have no idea what they’re walking into. My mom thinks I’m crazy lol.

So im just wondering if there are any other
off beat brides ☺️

I got married in a old theater. Wedding venues are not just the family church anymore.

To give you an idea of my venue.

As a wedding guest, I think non traditional venues are more fun! Typically these can hold a ceremony and reception, whereas a church usually just holds the ceremony.
I got married in a historic home. It was the perfect backdrop to our day! I have seen warehouse weddings too — I love details like exposed brick and huge windows in these venues! Yours will be perfect!

YAY, I love offbeat weddings. Can you post pics of your venue? It sounds cool. How will you decorate it?

YES, we had our destination wedding reception at a wine cave. Amazing. Our decor was inspired by Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean and wine caves can even have a neat "earthy" smell, just like the ride! Here are a few pics:

I’ve never been to wine cave or even heard of one but now I must track one down and go because this looks frickin awesome.

Our decor ia just greenery and white because we love how the space looks raw and we just want to enhance it a bit. I attached a few pictures of the different spaces we’ll be using.

I think that's SUPER cool! I would love something like that.

Ours isn't really nontraditional, but I still off beat since it's a county park and it's essentially 100% DIY so I'm working very hard to make it mine. Smiley smile I can't wait to see pictures once you get married!

How cool!!!! That's awesome!! We are having our reception at a museum. We wanted to have a trolly but the closer the time came, the budget didn't allow this type of extra... Smiley sad

Thanks so much. It’s a huge space so it’s going to be hard to pull off the decor I think. I’m Definitely going to have to find a happy medium.
