Is anyone else getting married in a non traditional venue? I’m getting married in a warehouse which is really cool and it honestly looks abandoned on the outside when you first see it. A trolly will bring our guest to the venue from a parking lot and they will have no idea what they’re walking into....

    Hi Niray! I also fell in love with The Art Factory and do think we will be using this as our venue. However, I've had a hard time communicating with the owners and it's making me a bit nervous. How has your process gone so far?

    Hey Genevieve,

    I had the same problem at first but I think it's because they have a lot going on. They are building their team and it's been much better. What I find helpful is scheduling an appointment to sit down and meet with Donata and Dave and discussing the overall look and feel you want for the day and they honestly do everything in their power to make it happen.

    The process has been pretty smooth for the most part and I'm excited to see how everything turns out.

    We ended up booking at another location - Rock island lake club. Just had a change in our vision is all - but same as Niray, I did well when I booked an appt with Dave. What an amazing place!

    I'm getting married in an industrial/loft style venue since neither of us liked the idea of getting married in a ballroom, church or barn lol
