Is anyone else getting married in a non traditional venue? I’m getting married in a warehouse which is really cool and it honestly looks abandoned on the outside when you first see it. A trolly will bring our guest to the venue from a parking lot and they will have no idea what they’re walking into....

A trolly will bring our guest to the venue from a parking lot and they will have no idea what they’re walking into. My mom thinks I’m crazy lol.

So im just wondering if there are any other
off beat brides ☺️

    Getting married in a museum is a super cool idea. What kind of museum is it? Our venue provides the trolly at no extra cost which is awesome because that budget wouldn’t have allowed it otherwise.

    Our at-home receiption was in a private club that was a converted warehouse. First picture is how it normally looked. Second is how it looked at our reception.

    We’re getting married in our restaurant we work at! I love the art on the walls so we really won’t need to decorate much and it’s FREE! We just have to pay for the cost of food! We honestly couldn’t have scored a better deal.

    A warehouse wedding is super common these days so I wouldn’t consider it offbeat. The three most popular venues in my city are all warehouses repurposed into event spaces. But your warehouse is GORGEOUS!

    We are getting married at an art museum with an industrial feel to it! It used to be a tobacco factory and has a lot of history, and it’s in the hometown where his parents were raised/where they met. I’m so happy we chose a building that is owned by the city because it is a lot cheaper than the venues we had in mind at first. ❤️

    Greenery will look awesome in your venue! What about modern candles (tall glass cylinders)? Candlelight would look stunning in this kind of modern place.

    We are getting married in a greenhouse that overlooks the city of Grand Rapids! Great skyline views and natural greenery! We love it!
