Need help with bridesmaid dresses :-( David's Bridal won't have the dress in time for wedding.

Sounds to me like she was pissed off. I would try another location because not all are the same

My MOH just ordered her dress on Friday and it will be in early May. You're cutting it a bit close but you should get them in.

We went to Alfred Angelo. We ordered two weeks ago and were told mid May arrival. I hope your ladies can find something. Good luck!!!

Alfred Angelo has a few with a quick turn around time. You could check there.

My MOH ordered her dress from David's Bridal today and was told early May. You could also see if it is eligible for quick ship online. Those are supposed to come in faster.

My girls ordered their dresses in mid-November and received them in early January. So, if you order now you will probably be fine!!

I found the lady at David's Bridal to be rude too - like we were a bother. That's where we found dresses that worked though (having a size 16 MOH was tough since sample sizes at most stores we went to were 10). They said the dress we wanted wouldn't be in until July (we went last Tuesday) which is later than your date. I feel like depending on the dress would determine the date they'd be ready for. There are also nicer ways to say it.

They always tell you in store that it's going to take forever. We went in mid October for my girls and they told one that if she didn't order her dress within 12 hours, she wouldn't get it in time. She went on the website a few weeks later, ordered said dress and had it within a week. They also told my sister and FSIL who ordered theirs that day that their dresses wouldn't be until December and January, respectively. Both their dresses were in by the first week of November. Check the site. It will tell you estimated shipping dates.

Even target has cute BM dresses!

I was at DB on Saturday for BM dresses for my MOH's wedding. She just so happens to be your date twin! We hated our consultant, but found the dress. It's supposed to come in April 11. If you want to try again, just make sure they're checking each dress you pull to see when it's available in the color and size you need. Size and color really affect availability.

Which dress and color? They have several on the website that are immediate ship, while others are special order. You might check and see what yours are, because if they're not special orders, they should come in very quickly.

I ordered there in December my wedding dress and the bridesmaid dresses and they said mine wouldn't be in til middle of May and it came 2 weeks later and the bridesmaid dresses were suppose to come in March and she got hers mid January. So they might come early... But it's hard to say.

I would check on their website. Some have quick shipping. I understand the stress. All but 1 of my bridesmaids have their dress. It's FH's sister. I made him bring it up with her again last night because I don't want to keep asking. She swears she will order it this Friday. They do generally say a longer time. My dress came in in only 2 weeks! Both my bridesmaids dresses came in in under a month. Good luck!

Another suggestion: try JCrew. They have a lot of beautiful, high quality dresses. My bridesmaids ordered their dresses on a Saturday and they were delivered in less than a week. Watch for sales, because you can save a lot that way.

My dress and 3/4 bridesmaid dresses came in way earlier than they said they would. Mine came in about a month when I was told 12 weeks. 2 of my bridesmaids (the ones that went last) got theirs like within two weeks, the other about 6 weeks. My MOH's dress? 4 months. 1.5 months longer than we were told.

Basically what I'm trying to say is that their timeframes don't mean much. But I also wouldn't take the risk and just hope they come in on time.

I feel like this is such a lie. I got a BM dress from Davids Bridal last year. They told me it wouldn't be in/ ship for 6-8 weeks. I got it in 4 DAYS! Literally when it arrived I was like "there is no way this is the dress" but it was. Same thing happened when the girls ordered for my wedding. They ordered end of May and we were told it wouldn't be in until mid Sept, they were here before my bachelorette which was beginning of August.

I would try going to a different location or ordering online. Or do what the PP have said and try a different store.
