Hmm...well if he's pulling it from your dress, he might need to know if it's something REALLY crazy. Or you could just tuck a bunch of silly stuff in your garter.

I bought a batman garter and plan to play the old batman theme. He doesn't know about that. But if we do anything else, I'll probably let him in on it. He'll enjoy the chance to show off and be goofy.

We've been talking about doing something fun too! I told him as long as he doesn't pull a pair of huge chonies out I'm up for it--- I just think so many people have done it so many times.

Here is another idea, I was at a wedding once where the DJ announced it was time for the garter toss, so the bride sat in her chair full of smiles and got ready for it when the groom shook his head at her and pulled her out of the chair. He then sat in the chair, the garter was on him and the bride took it off of him! It was so funny and a cute little twist to the party. That was something that sticks out when I think of their wedding.

I had a friend whose husband pulled out a mousetrap.

My sister did this at her wedding and her hubby's family is Polish and he pulled out a pussy willow. Sooooo funny.

I'm going to by a Philadelphia Phillies thong for my FH to pull out before the garter...he and his family are Philly fans like you would not believe, so I think even the super reserved Catholic relatives will get a chuckle! I think it's adorable to do that kind of stuff.

Was just at a wedding and the Dj told the groom to get on his knees and beg to get the garter, The bride was on a chair and the groomsmen kept moving her so he was crawling all over before he got to retrieve it. it was amusing
