Most important aspects of your wedding

What are some things you WILL NOT bend for? instance I don't mind using silk fake flowers, cake can be plain. Our reception will be outside so the white chairs are fine and I'll have some flowers asking the side but that's about it

I want a good photographer. Other than that, I'm pretty flexible.

I'm self obsessed. I wanted to look good in my dress, and I wanted lots of fresh flowers. Also wanted the open bar. Could have lived with cake completely.

Photography, DJ, and food. I've spent quite a bit of money on these things to get what I want, but I'm a lot more willing to sacrifice on any other wedding things

Number 1 priority was having a Jewish ceremony. We paid a lot for the rabbi and synagogue, as well as things like the ketubah (formal Jewish wedding contract) and chuppah (Jewish wedding canopy). We also had programs with the entire text of the ceremony (including transliterations and translations of the Hebrew), so that even our nonJewish guests could follow along, and with explanations of all the Jewish customs.

Second priority was being able to spend real time with our guests, instead of just saying 5 words to each so we could get on to the next. For that reason, we rented a place where everyone could stay.

Good food and drink were next in importance.

Everything else (including apparel and accessories, music, decorations, photography, and videography) was much lower priority.

Most important part of my wedding.... marrying my FH! As stressed out as a bride can be on her wedding day planning, I get it... but throw it all to the wayside... FH and you saying I DO is most important part of the whole thing. pictures, flowers, food... they all fade... memories stay forever. What happens after the I Do is keeping the relationship together for the rest of your lives. THAT is the hard part... but if "you" are continually working at your marriage as hard as the wedding plans... You both will last for eternity. THAT is my dream! Smiley smile (getting off my soap box now LOL)
