Modern or Traditional: First Look?

Going traditional here! My FH and I are modern in some things but this is something we both agreed on staying traditional. We'll be spending the day apart after the rehearsal brunch and the next time we see each other will be when I'm walking down the aisle. We both want it to be a special experience and we are so looking forward to it!

Traditional. First, I want to follow my superstitious gut, haha. Second, I love the perfect moment when the Groom sees the Bride for the first time as she's walking down the aisle. The moment is entirely private between them, even though everyone else is there. Everyone else is looking at the Bride and focused on the various aspects of her dress, etc., etc., and the Bride and Groom are sharing a silent, but private moment between themselves. Third, I love all the fun of trying to avoid each other on the day of. Especially for late afternoon/evening weddings.

Modern. We did a first look just the two of us at one location right near the water. We then went to a second location with our MOH and BM for some champagne and more photos. We got married in the city we live in so we wanted photos at some great spots right in town.

We are doing a first look. The thought of not seeing him until I'm walking down the aisle makes me anxious!

Modern and I am super excited about it!

Traditional all the way! I actually suggested maybe doing a first look and he said he wanted to see me walking down the isle for the first time, not before that. So sweet!

This is something I feel pretty certain about in that I am traditional. I feel as though the first look completely ruins the moment of walking down the aisle. It’s sort of crazy to me that it’s so popular now seeing as though it’s a saying that it’s bad luck before the wedding!

Traditional! I wanted to do a first look but this was one of the things my H felt pretty strongly about.

We have not decided totally, but we are leaning more towards not doing a first, walking down the aisle being the first time we see each other

Definitely traditional! It’s part of our beliefs.

We both really wanted to go traditional, but we are afraid we will be sacrificing cocktail hour for our wedding party and family since we are doing ceremony and reception in the same location. Still some time to try and hammer out the logistics but it's looking like we may have no choice.

We are meeting at the beginning of the aisle and walking together. I’m so excited to do that. We get to take that walk together. I think It’s the thing I’m most excited about her!

Traditional! I can't wait!

Modern. Propbably not telling his mom until after though lol.

Keeping it traditional here. FH doesn't want to do a first look so we aren't doing one.
