Let's make a list: Wedding accessories & nitty gritty details?

FutureMrsB (Aussie Bride!), on January 4, 2013 at 11:35 PM Posted in Planning 1 22

Hi Ladies,

I was hoping we could start up a list of all of the nitty gritty wedding details that are never in the wedding checklists. I know not every bride will want all of the accessories & details, but if we can compile a list, then we can look through and decide what we want and don't want, and what we have forgotten or never thought of to help with our planning and budgeting process!

I know this sounds offal, but what about deodorant or perfume in-case you get sweaty. I know that I don't want to smell offal after dancing for two hours. or that may be included in the emergency kit?

Future Mrs.B....Did you take my bag for Cate's wedding? lolol

Add....blister bandaids and that tape that prevents blisters; deodorant remover sponge; chalk(Hayley's list).

I also made one for her groom: Axe spray, deodorant, whisps, shoe laces, polish, his mousse and immodium, Tums and Tylenol, extra collar inserts and powder for sweaty feet. He truly appreciated it.

Whoa! I'm saving this list for later! I'm behind on the curve with planning I think... I haven't really looked over my checklist much, but when the day comes that I decide to, I'm going to be glad I have this for additional things! Thanks for the great post!

@Jesica L.: I used Certain Dri deodorant. You put it on the night before, then wash it off in your morning shower. No residue left to get on clothes, but it lasts for over 24 hours, even with dancing. Heck, I've used that stuff while bicycling 20 miles in 100 degree heat, and still ended up with dry underarms. Of course, everything other than my underarms was sweaty. LOL

@Vicky P.: Marriage license wasn't on our list, because we actually had to get it after we arrived in Massachusetts. And we had to go to court to get a waiver of the usual three-day waiting period. Needless to say, that added stress to the last day before the wedding!

Ok I have been married before, I regret not having has lists such as these. I got ready at my in-laws house and had to borrow undies from my mil on my wedding day. Ex-hubby was getting ready somewhere else and took my bag with him. I had no make-up no undies, no deodarant etc etc. I can laugh now but that was truly a haorrible day.

He also lost the license and we had huge panic over that one.
