Keep or Cancel: Garter Toss?

I have to confess that I've never actually seen a garter toss in person! But apparently 37% of grooms still participate in this reception tradition! Will this toss tradition make the cut for your wedding? Do you want to keep or cancel this toss tradition? Photo from Red Gate Farms in Savannah, GA...

Cancel. This makes me so uncomfortable to watch as a guest. I can’t imagine doing this. Very awkward to do in front of our families

Cancel although my FH hasn't brought it up so I don't know what his thought will be, but again no one is single

Cancel. I've seen where the guy who catches the garter then puts it on the woman who catches the bouquet and they both looked really uncomfortable participating in that but were trying to be good sports. We will not be doing a garter toss or a bouquet toss.

Cancel, because it's kind of gross and most of our dude guests aren't single.

Cancel. So cancel. Extremely archaic tradition. Every time I see this the bride looks embarrassed or uncomfortable.

Noooo. My fiance and I think it's just awkward and not something guests need to see. It weirds me out. But hey, if you feel cool, go for it.

Cancel. This was one of my first “absolutely nots”, right after getting married in a church and wearing heels. Its awkward for everyone and my dress is too tight anyway.

Keep. Our tradition includes all men. The man to catch it will face great positive change over the next year (e.g., successful first date, engagement, wedding, baby). The garter is not placed on the women's (who caught the bouquet) leg, but the two can dance to celebrate their predicted fortune.
