My FH wants the groomsmen and himself to be in jeans, i love the idea . Our parents not so much . Our wedding is at a barn in texas so i see it fitting lol . Thoughts on this? I posted a picture of the look he is going for

If I paid $250 for a dress I'm probably wearing once, and I found out the groomsmen get to wear jeans, I'm showing up to the wedding in a flannel and pajama bottoms.
You can get that dress cheaper elsewhere. Have the groomsmen in khakis, it'll flow better with that type of dress.
Also, thanks for the reading material on a quiet Monday. WW shenanigans never fail to provide entertainment!
I agree with a previous poster..jeans don't look great next to a full blown sparkly wedding gown and veil.
Is your dress a bit more rustic/country like?
Nevermind. I just saw a pic of your dress. I think jeans will go great with that.

I'm not getting why jeans, boots, hat, button down shirt, and a tie is inherently more comfortable than dress slacks, dress shirt, no tie, nice belt and shoes. Ditto for khakis, button down, tie, vest, boots. Those seem hotter and more confining, as well as less wedding appropriate. Don't have to wear a tie to look dressy, and would be possible for the price of the bridesmaid's dresses.
@Always: No joke! Give me the choice between wearing slacks or jeans, and I'll choose the slacks. They're far more comfortable. In fact, i much prefer my work clothes to a lot of my daily wear clothes.
Oh man..I just read through all the posts.. please don't make your BM get a $250 dress have your guys in jeans. If you want the $250 dress, put the guys in slacks and vest.
Just saw the $375. My third nope for the jeans.
Who's paying for the groom's wear? It should be up to you and your groom. Not everyone is going to love the style. It's just like you buying your wedding dress not everyone is going to like it or love it but it your day at the end. I'd say go for it, if it fits the style do it!! :-)
@MNA, me too! I wear straight-leg and skinny jeans mostly, and when they're fresh out of the dryer? The woooorst! My work slacks, on the other hand, I would wear anytime, anywhere.
@MNA, I need new yoga pants! Mine are too big now and bag too much around the knees! Still comfy, but I need a pair that's a bit more snug! Jeans are the worst. There's one school district I sub for and they do casual Fridays; I never wear jeans, just a funky dress!
@Jay: I got some linen pants from Old Navy that I can wear to work, and I looooove them! They've got the yoga pant-style gold waist, but look totally professional from the waist down! Sooo comfy!
I never wear jeans even on casual Fridays, because I don't feel right. I do have some super comfy sweater dresses I pair with leggings (they come to my knees and it's too cold without!) and boots. So comfy.
My favorite yoga pants are also Old Navy! I have some AE ones that are my worst pair: terrible quality, and attract cat hair like a damn magnet! My Danskin ones are okay, but my ON ones are amazing too! I love the bootcut ones.
it sounds like you only went to this one Australia site to look at their dresses to choose from. I agree with others to cancel it and do more bridesmaid research--check Modcloth, Azazie bridesmaid dresses, even David's bridal.
I didn't finish all the comments so I don't know if this was already said. Plus, were you going to pair cowboy boots with that BM dress? Definitely you can find less expensive and just as pretty dresses that all your BM can afford, will like, and fit your barn atmosphere.
@kari we mostly look only on pinterest that was probably our first mistake lol but yes were looking for other options and yes they are wearing boots . The jeans are no more we found some other options we both like
