We're doing similar! We aren't having a super formal wedding, so it works for us.

Everyone will have their opinions. It's just not for some people, which is understandable. It's your day though, so whatever makes y'all happy!

This will be a totally unpopular opinion, but for a barn wedding in Texas, if they are "good" jeans, not work/ranch/barn jeans, I would say ok. Then again, I am getting married in a blue rockabilly halter dress and IDK what FH is wearing (nor do I really care), take the opinion for just that: an opinion.

Perfect with that dress. I think it will be gorgeous. If the guests dress in normal wedding attire, it still makes the jeans the groom and groomsmen's special wedding attire and your inspiration pic is done classily.

I normally wouldn't say jeans and a wedding should mix, but if he's going for the look in the picture - I think it will look fine. Ultimately, it's your wedding. If that's what you both want, go for it.

I live in Texas and have been to some weddings where jeans were totally acceptable, and some that jeans would've been out of place. It's up to you. I think the barn venue will help. If a country aesthetic is what you're going for, more power to you.

Are you OK with everyone wearing jeans then? If so, then it's a look. It's not my style, and I often wonder if the jeans, cowboy boots look will start to look dated.

I think it will look fine as long as the jeans are nice(:

Does it fit your personalities? I really like the look and thought about doing something like this, but in the long run it's not really "us" so we decided against it. But if it feels like you, then do itSmiley smile

As long as you are dressed equally casually. Not a fan of the two people getting married looking like they are going to different events. I also think it looks childish.

That look totally works with your dress! If you two are in love with the idea, I say go for it! It's your wedding you should be able to dress the way you want, even if it includes jeans.

The attire of bride and groom is where you can really let your personal taste shine.

Having said that, and since you asked for thoughts, I'm not a fan of "going for a cowboy look" unless your FH is an actual cowboy. Otherwise it just looks like cosplay, because none of us are actually Batman, either.

Ultimately it's up to you and him! It matches your dress so if you like it, go for it.

My FH is wearing black jeans and a dress shirt. I'm fine with it because he's comfortable and it fits with the atmosphere of our wedding (id call it casual I guess).

Personally i think jeans are fine as long as it's the right setting.
