I always thought (yeah, tacky, I know) that if people invite me for their weddings, they actually want me to be there. I always thought (yeah, tacky, I know) that if people invite me for their weddings, they actually want me to be there. But now I understand people do not expect all of their guests to show up, which is also tacky.

We currently have 2 tacky invitations for 2 weddings this summer. I’m wondering if we are among those tacky guests who should decline but to the couple’s tacky surprise, we accept? Before you say anything negative, I understand it’s tacky we haven’t RSVPed before we received the invitations.

Is it tacky if I call the couples and ask them if that really want us to show up? Or should we decline and just send them a tacky gift?

Please help, but don’t comment if you’re going to say something tacky. Thanks!

I am the worst bride when it comes to not eating & exercising, BAH! Damn, no I don't have any tacky props. I just said to FH, "uh we forgot your guitar!" He says he doesn't want pics with it anyway. I am doing good by getting himself in the pic. He is being less than enthusiastic about taking e-pics. My SIL has some cute props so I think we'll be good. Ok I'm gonna get off WW & dance & be goofy until I get him in a better mood... may have to resort to something else that will put him in a better mood...ha! Smiley winking now THAT'S tacky!

Mrs. S. is tired of the word "tacky"

so she asked a question with as many "tacky" adjectives/verbs as possible.

So we started to answer her question with the best Tacky advice to be the most Tacky... or is it Tackiest.... to correct me would be vulgar*

*we started using other words for tacky according to the definition of tacky somewhere in the first 10? pages?

Some where in here is a link to a real live tacky wedding if you wanted to read about it.

the Tupperware card box wedding.... I almost forgot the $1400 dress

I am deeply hurt (and I'm crying a little now) that the only not-about-cash-bar and non-troll thread in WW history that almost reached 400 comments is called "a monster".

So I'm going to cure my sorrow now.

Tacky as it may be but this has been my reading for the past two nights....it's awesome and the funniest thing I have read in a long time. Many of the other shoddy posts I don't like to respond to b/c it would be tacky of me to "yell" at people for being tackily stupid... The tacky card box is soo awesome... I showed FH and he asked, "what's with the cereal box?" ahahahhaahah he just sighed and shook his head.. I laughed..
