So true, and the sad thing was that it was adjusted and still looks like we’ll be over again. How do people stay under budget!?

I am so over budget!!! I. The hubby to be and I agreed to invite 60 guest a piece. This number excluded the bridal party and children. Well he has 75 guest on his list and I have 55. I soooo wish I could cancel everything and just go to the justice of peace. The wedding is in 35 days. Am I wrong for feeling this way

True for some things! Definitely didn't think I'd be spending so much on a venue, but we were able to get a really good deal on our photographer! So it's give and take!

Eek, this is true.. currently in the SOS stage of planning with the last 30 DAYS! We are paying ourselves, and trying to do it all cash, but I am STRESSING OUT!

To be honest, I never really set an overall budget. All I did was set individual budgets. For example, my budget for photography and videography was $2,000 (together) and flowers hoping for $500 but definitely not over $1,000. My budget for both venues and catering is $5,000 set by my dad. I'll be interested to see what my entire wedding cost is at the end. But if we are going off my individual budgets so far, then false! I'm actually under budget for photo/video!

True! But not too bad. I think this is kind of inevitable for most people. You want your wedding to be as low cost as possible, but you estimate low, and everything is so much more!

I am now....long story. But FH lied about the cost of the DJ and so now I'm over budget by almost $300

Not! Our wedding is a lot more complicated than we wanted it to be too. Considered eloping so many times.

We didn't really have a huge set budget. I'd say our wedding is pretty darn affordable and is going to be beautiful. Not too expensive at all.

Both. We definitely didn't want to spend what we did but we never actually set a specific budget. I was fortunate to come into a decent amount of money a few months into our planning so that paid for almost half of it and we saved the majority of the rest. We even ended up having a good amount left so I guess technically we were under our predicted amount. Lol

100% it's just a number to us as well. If we have to go over that number oh well its our wedding

True and false. Our budget is kinda just a number. We understand to save on a few things, but we also know its our WEDDING DAY and if we want to spend more we can.

My FH is the spender I’m not — I’m simple and he wants all the bells and whistles
