True and false. Our budget is more or less a made up number. We are under the 60k we promised ourselves but our parents are helping out here and there so we are probably over when it is all said and done.
We committed a huge wedding planning no-no and didn't *really* set a budget, but just kind of came up with a number we thought we might spend. We've definitely surpassed that number.

We haven't set a budget really. My FH and I both like getting the best deal though, so we do look for ways to cut costs.
We never really set a budget. When we started planned, we thought we could stay around $20,000 but it ended up costing around $27,000. It would have been $32,000 had we not had a 35% decline rate
Technically no. My dress was over my allotted dress budget, but my parents surprised me by paying for it, so as long as alterations aren’t crazy, even that was totally manageable.
False. I still show a surplus in our wedding account once everything is paid for. A rapidly shrinking surplus at this point, but we’re still looking to come in slightly under budget.
True-ish? We’ve actually stuck to the budget of things we “budgeted” for but we have a lot of things we didn’t include because we have some wiggle room.
Literally. There was never really a budget for us and was clearly evident in how many guests FH decided to invite. I just try to do all things affordably and pretty much we just have our plan for what's left to pay off. In a general sense of what we thought we'd end up spending (20K) in total wasn't true and we went over that lol. Our friends were crapping their pants thinking of us spending 20K on our wedding but us as a couple still are spending less than that once factoring what our parents gave us.
We are within budget, I am extremely vigilant about all the details and expenses but I’m sure we will go over budget when the wedding gets closer due to little details and things we didn’t think about!
