I'm over budget - true or false?

I believe we are under the proposed package budget given by the venue but I'd have to look. My FH basically said "we have the money. Just dont go over board."

False. Can’t be over budget if you never had one

No! I actually said we would probably spend about 20k. Right now we’re at about 13k? Doesn’t include alcohol, which I’m sure will get us closer to the original budget.

Definitely over but since we're still booking vendors, I'm not sure by how much and I would prefer it that way lol. At least until the very end. I don't want to drive myself insane.

Not yet, but really we didn't set an exact number. We know we want to keep it as cheap as we can, but with my coupons, the long engagement where we can buy as we go, and DIYing it up we didn't set an actual number.

True - I had originally planned to stay $8000 or less, but some how we have surpassed that. I blame my dad for wanting to add late night snacks to the catering and my FH for constantly adding guests (we've now had to create a guest list B, lol)

True- most likely- we had a budget preference of 15k but realistic budget of 17k. We went really under budget on some things: flowers and photographer alone we saved $2k but over in others - my dress, oops. It all depends on our final guest count though so fingers crossed!

False! Our budget was $9000 and we ended at $8200 with 155 guests

So true! and idek where the rest of the money is going to be coming from. I guess out of thin air. At this point, we are just hoping that more people say no than we were expecting so we can save that way.

We set an unrealistic budget so we are definitely over budget. But we’re keeping it in check.

For the most part, I'm on budget. I monitor it really close to make sure it doesn't get out of hand.

We’ll end up being maybe $2k over budget which isn’t too bad, but that’s only because our parents are paying for a few things like my dress and the rehearsal dinner.

True!! I went over big time but I also wasn’t sure what I wanted when I decided on a budget so I had no clue what I was doing.

Very true. We set an unrealistic budget. We had no idea the costs of the particulars. Oh em gee! But once we had real costs details...we are on track with staying on budget. But we're not done yet. Fingers crossed!!
