If your having an evening wedding...

My wedding is at 5:30pm

Sleep in, stuff my face, drink. In that order.

I was told by my makeup and hair person that makeup and hair would take about 2.5 hours, then time for photos. What other time do you plan to kill?

@Labake, I like. I think I will be doing what you are doing. My wedding doesnt start until 6. I will probably be @ the venue, overseeing. I still can't just let my wedding planner just do what I am paying her to do without me being there. She understands though, she just says that I am a bride that knows what I want and it doesnt bother her.

Rough timeline for the day:

Up by 6 or 7 (most of the bridal party has dogs or babies that will get us moving against our will)

8 AM Breakfast - Most important meal of the day!

Morning - Men golf/ Ladies- decor and cake set-up (my mama is making it!)

Lunch

Afternoon- Men- grooming and loitering/ Ladies - hair and make-up

3 PM - First Look =)

4 PM - Relax, deal with any last minute details

5 PM - Ceremony!

@ Kimberly We're having our wedding at a small resort so I'm scared if I wander about FH will see.

I do have a go to person that will go around the ceremony location and make sure all the stuff we paid for is there, set up right etc. I'm making her a list.

I wish I could do it myself.

Our wedding is at 6, reception to start right after. I will be spending most of the morning running around the venue getting all the last minute things set up, pouring distilled water in with the submerged flowers, making sure the bar is stocked, setting up the signs outside. Probably start getting ready at 1ish for pictures at 3.

I didn't think about making a timeline I wake up at 4am on a daily basis for work, so I guarantee I'll be up by 6am ready to rock! Were not doing pictures until after the ceremony, so I have alot of time to kill, I will also be overlooking everything at the site before the wedding, breakfast for sure... a nice hot shower... good lordy I'm sure time will fly anyways!!

Are you having a rehearshal dinner?

We are and then having a bonfire afterwards. I'll be staying up to play host during that so I know I will be able to sleep in.

I'm usually up by 8 at the latest but something tells me I'll be tired.

Trying to sleep in, doing any extra decorating of the venue, eating and then off to hair.

We are getting married at 4 ....

wake up

go to brunch with mamosa's (sp)

go to venue to meet the florist and make sure all the final touches are in place,

go make sure all the food gets delivered to the hall for my helpers to start prepairing

(my mom are making all the food this month and freezing it, well what we can at least and then I have some people putting everything to gether for us and heating it up and setting it out and what not)

meet up with the photographer at 12

hair at 1

makeup at 3

some photos with the girls and hubby(but not actually seeing eachother!)

then wedding at 4, and the night of our lives to follow!!!!!

Yeah we will have the rehearsal dinner But I'm sure I will be asleep by 10pm! I'm an early bird.... I tried sleeping before but all I end up doing is laying in bed staring at the ceiling...

We are getting married at 5. So we are getting ready, you know the usually. We are also doing the first look and the rest of the pictures.

I have the same game plan as Labake. Our wedding starts at 6:15pm. We're having a slumber party in the bridal suite the night before so my current game plan is

My photographer reports at noon so I can't wait to see these photos!

We're doing photos beforehand so that's a big chunk of our day.

9am - I am going for a run/walk on the lake with one of my girls, then sneaking in a cigarette, stopping at Starbucks, and taking a shower.

11am - I start hair/makeup in the suite, brunch spread for the girls or whoever wants to come hang out.

1pm - dress goes on

1:30pm - first look with FH

1:45pm - trolley picks up the WP plus their dates and scoots us around town for pre-wedding photos while we have snacks and drink champagne.

3pm(ish) - trolley drops us off at church - finish WP photos and bride/groom portraits, then we go hide out and freshen up and eat more snacks.

4:30 - 25 min ceremony, then family photos

5:45pm - board trolley and maybe stop for a quick drink/photo opp at Billy Goat Tavern.

6:45pm - grand entrance after guests are seated for dinner.

MekMek I like the scheduled argument. I will do the same with my mother.

Labake, I figured if I schedule it in then I will be expecting it and it won't catch me off ground and bring me to tears on what is suppose to be the happiest day of my life.

Nothing I won't have time. lol

My wedding begins at 4:30 P.M.

My make up/Hair person wants me at noon, and depending on whether or not my girls want theirs done, it might be sooner. They have not decided yet.

So I will wake up in the morning, shower, blow dry my hair, have a satisfying breakfast w/ mom and girls, make sure the Ballroom and Ceremony area gets decorated and then start getting ready.

POOLSIDE and drinks!! I need to add that to my new timeline duh... Your so funny mekmek at least you expect the argument so you will be ready for it!

My wedding is at 6:00 p.m. I hope I am able to sleep in a little. Pedicure in the morning, 12 makeup appointment from there I will be going to the church where me and my girls will be getting ready. My hair will be done around 2:30 then it will be time to get ready because pictures will start at 4! I'm planning on having lunch for all the girls at the church. I think it should be a pretty relaxing day

My wedding ceremony starts at 5 but we'll start getting ready around 1 because we're taking pictures before. The morning of my girls and I are having breakfast w/ mimosas. Other than that I have nothing planned because I'm sure time will fly and I won't realize it.
