If your having an evening wedding...

@Mek Mek I need to edit my schedule to look like yours...shots and more shots

My wedding is starting at 5:30-6pm and we're sleeping off the liquor from the night before, massages and food!! And can't forget the mani-pedi

Me and my girls have to be at the church EARLY!!! My wedding doesn't start til 6, but my photographer said EVERYONE HAS to be ready by 3pm [hair, makeup, EVERYTHING]...she DOES NOT do late

Meka that is an incredibly fabulous attitude to take.

I think I should tell our DOC to schedule several times throughout the reception for FFIL to yell at the waitstaff, complain loudly about the food and how cheap we are and just berate people in general.

Mine is at 6pm. Going to start getting ready around 1. Before that i am working on the BM flowers.

We are having a 6 pm wedding, but I know the whole day will be pretty busy because we are doing all the decorating ourselves. Our tentative schedule

10 am-noon: decorating/set-up

12-1 lunch

1-3 hair and makeup/getting dressed & ready

3-5:30 pictures

MekMek - I'm just going to copy and paste your plan. We're contracted at the reception site for a 6pm cocktail hour so I guess the wedding should be around 5. The venues are about 5 miles apart. I love the slumber party idea!

We are getting our hair/make up starting at noon. Pics at 3. Before that probably setting up what needs done in the morning after breakfast probably. Oh and mimosas in the hotel room! Maybe soaking my feet in the hot tub?

My wedding was at 4pm. Spent part of the morning setting up for the reception and then relaxing with my family My hair and make up started at noon and we left to go to the ceremony site at 3 (it was nearby) The time goes fast.

Wow. Before stumbling across this post this was my day:

8:30am- wake-up, breakfast, fuss with the guys to get up and start setting up the tents, tables and chairs

9:30- be over fussing at the guys, roll-up my sleeves and start doing it myself

10:15- get fussed @ by FH about doing it myself and not being more patient

11- make up w/ FH

11:03- have a stiff drink

11:10- have a second stiff drink

11:15- oversee set up

12:00- escape with my girls to spend money I don't have

12:30-1:30- ignore a million phone calls about my whereabouts

1:35- stiff drink

2- go home, check in w/ DOC

3- a cat nap

4- take a cool shower

4:30- hair and make-up

5:15- put on dress

5:30- get married

This needs to be re-vamped a little, I'm sure. I'm happy that I am not having pics done before the ceremony and don't have to travel. Hours before the wedding in my dress and make-up? HA! Not I. I'm too much like a 3yr old- messy, clumsy, fidgety, and a hot box.
