You're man looooooves you and your body... Just relax and have fun with it. It's okay to feel silly! Honestly, the lingerie doesn't stay on the body for long so don't worry about what you do in it!! Just act the same way you do without it. Smiley smile Smiley smile

I agree with jlam.. i also feel akward in lingerie, and i work at victorias secret!.. the important thing is to find something that YOU are comfortable in, (i havent loved some of the stuff i have, but i found a lacie at the store in zebra print that i feel very comfortable about myself in) and it does make a difference.. the boys (yes boys) just like it to get things started.. Just be yourself your FH loves you for you...with your confidence he will see that and be like "hot damm"...lingerine never tends to stay on that long anyway!

I agree with the lots o wine comment, ha! Also, start wearing it while your by yourself to get comfortable in it - stop and look in the mirror every once in a while and after a while it will feel very natural to have on Smiley smile

Depending on what kind of lingerie you get, you might even want to put it on under your regular clothes, and let him peel them off of you to reveal what's underneath. (If you feel uncomfortable about going to the bathroom to change into it. That was the part that I always felt silly about. It never bothered me if I was wearing my "shield" over it and they got to reveal it a little at a time.

I felt this way when I got married the first time. I was really young and just didn't view myself as "sexy" so it was hard for me to see myself in lingerie. But when I realized how crazy it drove my husband, I owned it and got really comfortable with it. I still didn't wear it much, but sometimes I'd put it on instead of my regular pajamas and act like nothing was different and wait for him to come to me. It was fun. This time, FH is more shy about the lingerie than I am, but he still loves it. However, he's also into a plain old boring bra and white panties!

I usually just do some risky things in mine by just dancing seductively to music and just start rubbing on him or I'll leave a text message in his phone or I'll just call him and let him know there's a 'surprise' waiting for him when he gets home...plus men like when u are comfortable in yourself that sets the tone ,allows him to relax and enjoy you!

I felt more uncomfortable with ex... cause he didnt really like it, said it didnt matter to him, just me naked. Now how sexy is that???

FH loves it... He doesnt need it, but appreciates me in it. I think thats whats made a difference to me. I feel more sexy, cause FH thinks I'm sexy in it and tells me so.

Start off with some lingerie thats not as risque... and work up from there.

I pretend I'm just wearing a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. lol. FH goes NUTS when I walk around in lingerie and act like it's nothing unusual.

I feel uncomfortable in it just because I'm not a girly girl and it's usually too frilly for me. I'd rather just be in boy shorts and a tank or something. LOL. FH isn't picky. I always tell him he's a dirty old man. And honestly, most guys are like that. We care WAY more about what we look like than they do. When I DO wear a corset and garter or something he'll see me put it on before we go out to dinner, and then I drink several glasses of wine...lol. so I feel more comfortable in it when we get home.

I used to feel uncomfortable in it too. FH LOVES fishnets and I feel like my leg fat bulges over the top. Hahhaa. The first time I bought lingerie and wore it for him I almost chickened out and didn't leave the bathroom. Boy am I glad I did... ;]

It helps if I try to see myself the way that he sees me. I play up the assets I know drive him nuts (*ahem* my backside and the "twins") I find lingerie that covers the bits I'm not a huge fan of (my belly, the tops of my thighs) And I wear heels because it makes my legs go for miles.

There's something about that "WOW" look in his eyes that really does wonders for a lady's confidence. =]

Oh...FH bought me stripper heels (I told him I was NOT buying them) and honestly, those are all he needs to be happy. LOL. Guys are way easier to please than girls.

OH. And to answer the second part of your question? I don't really do much once I'm dressed up. I really don't have to. He knows when I'm in my lingerie, fishnets, heels with my hair all tossled... It's on. It doesn't take much explaining. Haha. I sometimes just call him into the bedroom and stand there near the bed and raise an eyebrow at him. Hahaha.

Wear it by yourself while you are doing every day things around the house. It sounds weird but it helps you get to the point that you don't think much of it before your man sees you in it. Its not half as sexy to wear lingerie if you are self concious.

Lingerie doesn't have to be the skimpy, frilly kind. It can the sweet, silky stuff at VS. Start off with that and before long you'll be in the crotchless panties with the 6 inch heels! Smiley smile

I love lingeries! I am very comfortable in my skin, it comes in the family lol. Harts is right, it doesn't have to be super sexy, it can be cute and sweet silk. I am a huge fan of lace and satin lingerie and I refuse to wear thongs. Men don't care about your appearance and trust me they get so turned on when they see the women they love in a lingerie outfit. So don't work so hard on your appearance and trust me, it is worth it to wear something like that wink wink.
