How to thank someone for a very large wedding gift.

Thank you so much for the incredibly generous gift. We are looking forward to using it toward ________. We are so glad that you could share in our special day. It was wonderful to see you, blah blah blah.

Thank you so much for being a part of our wedding day. Your special gift was so incredibly generous that we are almost at a loss for words. "Thank you" just doesn't seem to be enough, but please know that we are so grateful, and always will be.

Yeah I'm trying to go for something more sentimental than the standard "thank you for the generous gift..."

Telling them what it's going to be used for is very helpful if you're looking for ways to convey gratitude. I'm with Laura.

What Laura said is what all of our thank you's say though, I was looking for something "more"...
