How soon did you book your photographer?

We booked ours last Saturday, our wedding is in November. I've come to the conclusion, that nothing is too soon when it comes to weddings. If you like her and her price is within your budget, book her.

We booked ours a year in advance, so it is fine to go ahead and reserve her now. You don't want to run the risk of her getting booked for your date.

We booked ours a little over a year out. We liked her and her pics, we had the $ for the deposit, so we wrote her a check and signed the contract at the first meeting.

We booked about 11 months out. And around here that was late haha If you love her, book her. Don't risk losing your date!

We booked ours over a year and a half out....so it's never too early

We booked her right after booking the venue. It was really important to us and ours books fast. It was about 10 months out.

About a year out. She was running a great deal and I loved her stuff so I booked!

Thanks everyone we are definitely booking her this month, so 13 months out. Our venue was booked as soon as we were engaged, so 14 months out it's crazy how quickly everything fills up!! I don't know how short engagements are done lol. I guess the options just become fewer.

6 months out!

Over a year out. It was the 3rd vendor I booked.

We booked ours about a year in advance, just under 2 months after we got engaged. We actually weren't planning on looking for a pro, but as soon as we decided to, we started looking.

6 months. Our engagement is only 7 months total and I just booked her this week.

We booked the photographer after the venue. Super important in my book. So probably 3 months after wedding planning begun.

Our photographer was the first vendor we booked - a year and ahalf out. We were holding two dates at our venue and made the final decision based on his availability. We really like his work!

I don't think it's ever too early to book a vendor. We got engaged last March and had our photographer booked that June or July.
