View Quoted Comment I get that, I mean most of that budget is food/drink which will be about $7,500. My venue is $3,500 to rent. Chairs/tables/linens are included as well as dessert. I’m not having a DJ, probably making my own centerpieces. Only having one bridesmaid so two bouquets. Just gotta worry about hair and makeup and photography, getting a dress of course.

Hi our budget is $25,000 for the wedding itself. It’s going well so far! All vendors/services are booked and decors are planned out and we’re at 24,500. Just waiting for all the smaller things to add up lol. We’re eight months out so I’m sure there will be some smaller things I want to add/buy, etc.

Budgeted $7k for my minimony (included dress, tux, church fee, etc). My family is funding and planning my celebration and they budgeted $100k.

Unrealistically we set a $10k budget but we were in for a very rude awakening. To have the wedding we want we upped it to $20k but that’s for everything (wedding, reception, suit, dress honeymoon etc). Right now we’re at around $15k & have to make our last $4k payment to our all inclusive venue next month. Plan on spending around $500 in alcohol next month which puts us $500 under budget- that we can use for last minute incidentals.

My cap is 25k hoping to keep our own out of pocket expenses under $15k.


My friend had her wedding budget set at 5k and ended up spending closer to 7k and that was with a free firehall pavilion rental and lots of DIY

Aiming for 20k, with the only expense not counted being the engagement ring.

Out budget is $5,000. Were actually just at $4,200 though which is nice in case there’s some things we forgot

Original budget was $20k and we upped it to $25k after looking more into vendors. I'm estimating we'll be at around 28k when we're done. Clearly budgeting didn't go well for us lol

Started out at 15K and ending up closer to 20K. That’s for an 80 person guest list.

Our total budget is about 12.5K, but we're planning (and on track for) closer to 10K. That also includes the honeymoon, so subtract 1K if you're looking at the numbers without honeymoon budgeted.
