Oh boy, we're trying to stay under $40K. The wedding venue itself was $20K. I'm having my dress and veil custom designed so it's saving me a lot of money ($3200) which eliminates alterations since the dress will be designed to fit my body. I splurged on my photographer and videographer because I just had to have them both. LOL
Hello, Since this isn’t our first trip down the isle we budgeted 5 grand. But hope to be more like 3500. So far so good and we look in great shape with our wedding just around the corner.
Our wedding budget was $100k for 150 guests (we ended up with 120 guest in the end). Our parents paid for the majority of this though. Once we factored in the rehearsal dinner, farewell brunch, rings, and honeymoon, I think those things ended up costing an additional $15k combined.
You are definitely going to get wildly different budgets on this forum!
$40,000 for my reception/vow renewal including welcome party, 10 hotel rooms at the hotel where we are having the wedding, and travel expenses for my immediate family. I think we should be right around there for 75 people.
The minimony ended up being about $7,000 including the cost of the Airbnb rental, dress, catered dinner, officiant, etc.

I budged mines from $5,000 to 10,000 max and went over to $12k. We were suppose to get married in January of this year but covid had other plans so we pushed it back to April and ended up having to change some vendors and add some that increased it
We have a 35ish person guest list and a super tight budget. We have to fly 3k from Washington to Massachusetts for this because no one would be willing to fly out here. I found a restaurant venue that will cost us less 4k for absolutely everything: fall decorations, food, taxes, fees, champagne toast, cake, day of coordinator...all of it. Since we have a cost burden of flying back we opted for a much less expensive buffet style and an evening ceremony. Our ceremony will take place on the lighted covered bridge (so New England!) and the patio and garden rooms of the restaurant will hold the reception, and will be private for our function.
Our photographer is 850. We don't have a DJ and are just putting a playlist together for background music via bluetooth speaker. We are very nontraditional and have zero wedding party so that helped save cost for us. With flights and our wedding night in a hotel (staying with family for the rest of the week we are there) our all in budget is less than 5500.
We were aiming for $20k, but had to up it to $25k, and this is after cutting out some stationary, flower girls, ring bearer, etc.. And we'll be renting a bunch of stuff like faux flowers, decor. Hoping to not go over this new number.
Our guest list is 75-85, we budgeted $10K, but we are on track to spend $11.5K. $4,000 - Venue $1,500 - Photographer $850 - Flowers $1,350 - Catering $1,400 - Bartending & Alcohol $300 - Dress (Etsy) $900 - Lodging for out-of-state guests
We have spent about $500 on decor so far, we'll be spending another $150 on stationary, and probably $200 on groom's attire and our kids' attire. We're trying our best to stick to our budget, but it's been super difficult. Originally we wanted an $8K wedding too, but to get the venue we wanted that had lodging on the property for our family flying in from out-of-state-, we had to up that.
My wedding will cost 13k. This is actually really good for us because we are doing a microwedding and it's almost all inclusive minus a few things. Low key but very nice. We are getting married an hour outside the city. We looked at several venues in the city limit (toured at least 20 venues) and they all would of cost us 30k-40k, which is not worth it for us for one day. It will really depend on you and what you what. We are having 58 guests which is perfect during COVID due to restrictions. Do what's best for you and you significant other especially if you have to pay for the wedding and are getting no help. Good luck!
