The day we signed with our venue we both said we didn’t want to spend more than $14k excluding honeymoon and rings. We gradually increased the budget as time went on to about $23k. Now that our living situation has changed and got more expensive, we started cutting out all the extras we didn’t really need. I just finished updating my spreadsheet and it looks like we are at $18k. Happy medium.

We budgeted $10k and we just booked our venue under that. Our friend is gifting music (dj) which is awesome amd clearance centerpieces to cus the cost on real flowers. I do want them for the ceremony and our table.

Our budget is 25k, included everything. We are right at $24,215. Saving the rest for unexpected costs. We are in south Florida and are expecting 100 guests.

Well.... we never set a hard budget because we had a two year engagement so we had the time to pay it off plus I don’t pay rent and very few bills so saving for the wedding was easy. I’m getting married in 28 days yay!! But looking at everything and I mean EVERYTHING from the little details to the vendors we’ve spent $90,000. I didn’t really know where we’d land on total costs I just know my fiancé and I are having our dream wedding for sure Smiley smile but I know it’s not realistic, I never even thought I’d spend this much on a wedding till it was already set and done.

Didn't really set a budget but so far estimated at about $36k, but I'm thinking it will end up at like $40k.

I wanted our budget to be $30k, but looks like it’ll be $35-40k. Definitely not more because I refuse to go past $40k 😂

So, you're going to get WILDLY different budgets on here, because budget is VERY subjective to where you are.

Some people's budgets on here don't even cover what we paid for our venue... because we got married in NYC. (Where DH is from.) Big cities are high budget areas, whereas smaller towns usually cost a lot less.

Suffice to say, for us, $30k or so was considered "low budget" for our area.

I'm hoping to keep it under $10k---but realistically planning about $15k. Our biggest expense will be dinner (no reception just dinner at a restaurant), plane tickets, and the ceremony coordinator. Those 3 are eating up about $7k alone.

We're doing a small DW in FL but we are from Alaska.

Our budget is between 10k-15k. I’m doing a lot of DIY for center pieces and my MIL wants to take care of ALL the flowers in the wedding (bouquets, some roses in cloches, etc). My dad wants to take care of our honeymoon and asked us to both just make sure we have our passports just in case (but probably won’t go out of US because of COVID). Our venue price is around $4,000 total (includes bar) and catering about the same. DJ is a friend of my mom and only charging us $350 for the whole time. Still have more vendors to go though (photographer, officiant, day of coordinator, transportation, etc).

Finding a venue that has basically everything included helps, in my 3,500 rental fee I get use of the property all day, fire pit, lawn games, tables, chairs, linens, centerpieces (if I want), dessert option (cake, donut sundae bar or pie bar). Skipping on the DJ, will just have an ipod with a playlist. My ceremony will be in the same location with a discounted rate since my future husband is former military. Small wedding party, only having best man and maid of honor. Small guest list probably between 75-100 people, trying to keep it under 100 people. Just cutting a out a lot of unneeded things like programs, aisle runner, corsages for grandparents/parents, possibly skipping on favors, not doing bouquet or garter toss. We are getting married on a Sunday so brunch is an option at $63 a person with the cheapest bar package, we don't need top shelf liquor. We are probably not going with the brunch option though so the next option is $104 per person with the cheapest bar package. Just some ways I can think of off the top of my head.

We are planning about 45k for our wedding. I don't think it will be that much, but its better to be safe than sorry IMO especially because I haven't gotten prices for a few things like cakes and dress alterations, and we have to build our own Grand Entrance and IDK how much that will cost. We are saving a total of 60k though - we are both having destination bachelor/ette parties and we are going on a week long honeymoon out of country, so we included those things in our budget as well, plus a couple extra days in case something gets weird on our honeymoon because of COVID and we are stuck there for longer than expected.
