How many venues did you tour before finding yours?

I think I stopped looking by #3 because I found "the one"

Four venues and two travel agents looking at four destinations! 🤷‍♀️ undecided with only 8 months to go!

I only toured 1 reception venue at the hotel where my fiance works because we got such an amazing deal. Ive toured 2 ceremony locations and I'm in love with the second one. I'll find out next month if the date I want is available 😕 really praying it is!!!

We fell in love with #3 but kept looking for my fear of other options, so total looked at about 6 or 7 but went back to #3 everytime

I only toured one venue because my matron of honor had an open house there for her wedding. The others I just viewed pictures and prices. If the price wasn't what we could afford, I didn't bother touring. The venue I ended up picking is where my company has their Christmas parties and it's absolutely beautiful!

I toured one and then FH and I went to the second together and said YES ! We both had our hearts set on it from the start though

Since my FH is in the entertainment business, we frequent different venues. I had a list of places not to get married at so it was easy to decide on our venue after we made that 1 visit.

If all venues have your date or potential date available you are fine! We are planning our wedding in almost exactly 8 months from our engagement. As long as you have the finances and venue availability options, everything will fall into place. Promise!

We looked at 6 venues. The venue we ended up choosing was one that he didn’t originally get to tour with me so we went back together and were able to finally make the decision. I felt rushed as well because the owners at the venues kept saying they were filling up fast for the time frame we wanted. What helped us not rush into a decision was that we didn’t have a specific date in mind but wanted something November through February which gave us plenty of options.

We went to 7 venues. which is a lot, but they were all very different from each other and i'm happy we saw them all. we ultimately went with the last venue we saw. we fell in love the second we saw it, and it fit out vision and us perfectly.

None. I found my venue while conducting research to help someone else locate a venue.

It’s a really good location, close to the major Highways and has all the necessary amenities.

I think we looked at more than 10!! It took aaaaages, we got engaged last May and didn't find our venue til February!! I ended up stumbling upon an airbnb that is literally perfect and is waaaay less than most that we saw.

Toured 2 hotels then picked the one for my DW.

Honestly I'm the WORST at making decisions. I knew what I was looking for in a sense but a lot of places were well out of my budget so i didn't even bother going. I looked at one venue in PA and I loved it so we signed the contract an left the deposit that day! I knew if I looked at too many different places i wouldn't be able to decide. My FH doesn't always give much input either lol

We toured 4 venues and had a couple more booked. We fell in love with the last venue we toured and cancelled the other tours!

We looked at 3 but actually ended up back at the second.

One and it’s perfect!

I toured like 8 places in 2 different states and I think we’re going to go with the like 4th one we toured. Lol
