How many venues did you tour before finding yours?

One! I live in northern cali and all the venues I inquired about were all above our budget. When my fiancé and I first checked out a venue in SoCal, we fell in love. Luckily it was more affordable for our budget.

I didn’t tour any venues at all. I emailed A LOT of venues but because I was planning a destination wedding all along it was impossible to tour them. After picking out venue and falling in love we booked without any sort of tour all virtual. We flew there 5 months later to check the venue and arrange with vendors.

We toured 3 different venues. We went to the first 2 venues a few months ago and had settled on the 2nd one, but there was a venue I really wanted to see that we didn't schedule a tour at and I couldn't get it out of my head, so we ended up going there a few days ago to check it out and I loved it. So glad I didn't talk myself out of it!

I researched a ton on line and found many I loved but actually only looked at one and booked it

We looked at 3!! The 3rd one was the charm! We only tasted the food after we put our deposit down. The other Venues did offer complimentary tasting before we decided which was nice!

We physically toured 2, virtually toured 1 and ended up booking that one. Just recently we cancelled that one after I told my FH about my dream wedding venue from before we even met. We are currently saving to make the deposit on the (old) new venue lol. I'm also hoping to get time off for an open house of the venue so FH can see it for himself as well.

We looked at 3 barn venues before I was sat down for the “we can’t afford this” talk 😂 I gave up on venue hunting for a few months after that. Then we found a 4th venue that ended up being the one!

I found my venue while helping a former co-worker conduct research for their Wedding.

I knew that I wanted to book it due to the location and amenities.

Just 2!, chose the 2nd

FH sings in a wedding band every weekend so he knew which venues were good, which ones were small, which ones were too strict, etc. we toured a brand new one that we fell in love with and booked it that day! One and done. Having his knowledge of the other venues around town saved us a lot of time!

We got engaged on a Saturday. The following Wednesday, we toured one venue, and two more the next Saturday. We booked the first venue the next day - 8 days after we got engaged.

We booked the second venue we looked at. We started out with a general vicinity and a date. 3/5 venues we found were already booked. The first one we toured held it for us but I absolutely fell in love with the second one we looked at. We booked it the next week.

Three! And one wasnt really even planned. I went to a bridal show their and loved it then decided to take a real tour

We toured a couple in our home state before deciding on a destination wedding! We just booked our venue sight unseen, but FMIL and FFIL toured it for us with me on FaceTime! Just as glorious as the pictures

I looked online at tons, but we only went to 3 or 4 before finding the one! Dont feel rushed you'll know its your venue when you see it!

I booked on number 6!

We reviewed a bunch online and looked at 4 in person before making our decision!
