How many days off from work did you take in advance of your wedding day?

My last day of work was the Tuesday before my Saturday wedding.

My wedding is this Friday and I'm working through Thursday. I'm checked out too but I need the money and things have to get done around here somehow.

I took off a day and a half before my wedding. (Wedding was a Saturday, took of Friday and worked a half day Thursday). I kind of wish I'd just taken all of Thursday off, but we got everything done.

My wedding is on a Thursday night and I am only working that Monday. I will be off the rest of the week.

I think I’m going to do one or two days! I don’t want the whole week off because I feel like I’ll over stress myself with that much time to not be busy!

I didn’t want to take any time off work, so we planned the wedding the weekend of my spring break (I’m a teacher). It worked out because my mom and aunt are coming that week to stay and help out!

Leap Day Bride here as well, and I feel you! I can't focus on anything right now! I'm working today-Wednesday. I never work Fridays so I'll only be taking Thursday off. We have our venue from Thursday-Saturday so I'll be driving an hour and a half to our venue on Thursday to meet my fam & start setting everything up! I have 28 days of PTO so I could've taken off more, but I'll be off 6 days for the honeymoon and wanted to save leave for our summer vacation and Christmas (I always take off 2 weeks then)!

Haha, I got married on Sunday the weekend after Memorial Day so I had off Monday that week anyway and then I took off Friday of my wedding weekend, so I only had to work Tuesday-Thursday but I swear it was the longest 3 days of my life 😂 Getting absorbed in work and trying to set stuff up in preparation for being out for a week and a half was a good distraction. Also wrote out my escort cards at my desk and was on WeddingWire like 50% of the day because focusing was still extremely difficult 😂

....a week and a half. I was only going to do five days, but a boatload of last minute sh...stuff happened with caterer and family

I only took one day off

I’m taking off the week before and then the Monday after. We aren’t going on our honeymoon until June because my fiancé is a teacher so that just made more sense.

I got married on a Saturday and took off Wednesday through Friday.

It's tough for teachers to take time off (my mom was a teacher), so I empathize. I can work from almost anywhere, I just have to "reserve" the time in advance, and I didnt, so I'm kicking myself for now working from home tomorrow & Wednesday. Spring break is around the corner, so early congrats!!

Hey there wedding day twin! I'm also at work and I'm so scatterbrained it's not even funny. My last day in the office is Wednesday but I'm not sure I can make it that long lol.
