How long did you wait to get engaged?

6 weeks after we started talking. But it was 2 and half weeks after we met

We dated for close to 3 years before we got engaged

We were engaged after 11 months and we got married last sat. We were engaged for 2 years lol!!

Ugh touchy subject lol....5 years 8 months

FH and I met when we were in high school. I was 16 and he was 15. We were together almost 4 years before we got engaged. But, I knew he was the one after only about a year. I guess you could call us high school sweethearts.

We started dating our sophomore year of college, and we're both 27 now. So, we waited almost 7 years. As I'm sure you can imagine, we are READY to be married!

4 years too long! lol

The day he can back to my life in April he said he would marry my I got the ring 8 june. we have know eachother for 20 plus years hadnt spoken in seven he comes back and bang that the short stroy lol

We got engaged just in just short of two years after we started dating. We're waiting another year and a half to get married from that point.

I was only 17 when I met him and he was 21. I am 26 now. We both always new. We both also new we wanted to get to know each other and take our time. Let us go through are little partying stages.lol. As of today we have been together 8 years and 6 months. He proposed to me in July of 2010. He stated he wanted to make sure he did it somewhere special for us. So in July of 2010 I took my first ever plan ride to Hawaii(14hrs) on a Thursday. That Friday on our sunset cruise around Diamond head he proposed to me...in front of everyone. Of course I was a bucket full of tears. Then we got free Moet the rest of the cruise. It's funny because that Saturday we went skydiving 14,000ft. He said he was going to propose then but didn't know if we were going to survive.lol. I know him in and out and all the little things we both do to irk each other but i love him to pieces.

Just days after our 4th anniversary.

1 year 10 months. It was the right time. We had so many changes happening in our lives and we wanted each other there while they happened!

A few months and we were just talking. All of a sudden, he's talking to a few friends and his brother and says we're engaged. Lil' me is half expecting no wedding or at least a down on the knee proposal. But my guy isn't the average guy so I didn't argue. lol

14.5 months for engagement, and we will get married a week before our three year anniversary, and exactly three years to the day we met. Our engagement will span 21.5 months.

8 months dating, and we will be engaged for a year and 2 months when we get married.

I thought we were quick but nope, Summer and Ryan top it lol. He got the ring five months in, proposed three months later and then another two months later we tied the knot secretly lol
